The length of the menu is a suprisingly great mesure of the excellence of the food and experience. We were served with a broad smile, tact and generosity. Everything was charming and delicious. A delightful night, concluded by a heartwarming happy birthday song. I strongly recommend Da Mimmo for a genuine taste of Italy, charm and a place to go to again and again.

The staff seemed to know many of the other diners and bantered with them good naturedly. There was a delightful feel of a neighborhood spot in this small, busy restaurant. The food was delicious and the wine not too expensive. We both used our four or five words of Italian when talking the restaurant people. They responded prego to our grazie, with smiles. The pasta Bolognese had lots of ground meat in it and a rich tomato flavor. The salad was lightly dressed and crisply fresh.

Good and authentic!
Here, real Italian cuisine. Very pleasant setting, friendly neighborhood. The service is faultless, the staff listens to us. For an aperitif, why not an authentic almond Marsala. For pasta, “put Royals.” For pizzas, the wood-fired oven is at the entrance to the restaurant. They are made to order, nothing is done in advance, a great pleasure. And what about the coffee that we taste like in Rome.
I highly recommend!

Wow wow wow! I can’t recommend this place enough. The food, the staff honestly blew me away. We found it by accident as we had landed late and the warm reception and the quality of food was so good we could wait to go back the next night. Please try it

Wonderful place. Went there 3 days in a row and... Many people more did. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service...it is impeccable. Great for a romantic evening out or for a first date. Or en famille. Or alone. These people make everyone feel welcome and at home. I will be back! Thanks to the whole crew @mimmo!

Big doubts before entering because there weren't many people there but nice surprise.
Very warm welcome from all the staff. Even the boss goes around the tables to say hello.
And what about the dishes? Excellent!
Well stocked pizza and delicious pasta.
It would have been a mistake to look further

Delicious food!!! Reasonably priced. Good service. We were looking for a place to eat & happened to find this place...were the 1st customers there...so were skeptical...but were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant filled up quickly after we arrived.

It has degenarated. Used to be good. Now disaster. This is the calamari I am talking about.
Awful, no taste, and frozen. And here is the best part: 38 euro!!’ One glas of wine included.

We thank you for your opinion, but I am afraid to tell you that it is wrong: our calamari are fresh and not frozen, and we would be delighted to invite you to visit our premises and our cold chamber on your eventual next venue so that you can see by yourself that our products are fresh.
Moreover the fried calamari do not cost 38 but 28 euros.

Very nice Italian restaurant serving genuine Italian food and more importantly in good size portions with a price that is very democratic. I can recommend this place for anyone who would like to have good Italian food.

Last minute Saturday night. Warmly received. Excellent food and authenticly Italien...anitpasti, calamar, pizza, pasta etc.
We were delighted. All help Italian with a smiles and good humour. Limoncello offered at the end of the meal was the cherry on the cake. Near Republique

Looks like you don't really want to walk in because it looks like of the thousands of italian restaurants you already seen everywhere. That's where you are wrong. This is not just another Napolitan type restaurant, it's much more than that : it's really good! Don't hesitate, yes, there is a big tv screen, but it silent and it plays italina movies non stop, but, just look at what's in your plate! It mught be the best Linguine all Vongole I ever had, you're in Italy, and it's cheap and delicious. What else ? Oh, the waiters are so nice.

Three of us had a wonderful dinner here earlier this month on our last evening staying in the Canal St. Martin area. Everything we ordered was delicious: charcuterie platter, ravioli with black truffle sauce, pasta with veal sausage and cream sauce and the best spaghetti carbonara I've ever tasted. We're good eaters and appreciate fresh, homemade food. We saw pizza being served and it looked great, as well. A complimentary glass of limoncello to close the meal: parfait! The service was a bit slow but we weren't rushed so it was fine. It's on my list for a return visit next trip. Highly recommended.

I found this place trough TripAdvisor and i have to say, that i had one of the best pizzas that i have ever eatea, and i’ve travelled all the Round the world. And the food was served along authetinq Italian language and even singin, so can’t complain. 5/5 stars, easy...
