By nearly any reasonable measure, Cosi will exceed expectations as it serves up a quintessential Parisian experience from an unassuming side street (Rue de Seine) off the Blvd St Germaine. Order their plat du jour (including a sandwich/salad, dessert/soup and drink) for 10 euros. Take your meal to a window-side table upstairs, open the shutters, and gain a view of... More

We ate here several times during our Paris stay when we didn't want a heavy meal. Reasonable prices and superb homemade sandwiches and soups!

I lunched at Cosi, ordering a sandwich with zucchini, red pepper and ricotta. The ingredients were fresh and the flatbread wrap was good. However, there were no seasonings at all. While this sparse recipe has good intentions, the only seasoning available in the upstairs dining room was pepper. The sandwich needed SOMETHING to lift it up and I would have... More

This very cosy place, pun intended, has the best sandwich and salad lunch you will find in Paris!! It is located in a very trendy area, and the sister restaurant, Semilla, is also great. Don't miss it!!!

After a long day, stopped by here to get a sandwich with ham, ricotta and walnuts with carrot cake and perrier. Delicious. Also they have some interesting "would you rather" thoughts on chalk boards. Bath in carrot juice or shower in olive oil??

We went to this sandwich restaurant four times within our week in Paris! It's affordable, quick but most importantly delicious!! The bread made fresh throughout the day and baked in a wood fired oven is so so tasty!! It's addictive! The owner brought the recipe all the way from Italy! There is loads to choose from and the staff are... More

For a wonderful, affordable and artisanal sandwich you should look no further than Cosi. The chic decor was a great location to enjoy Lunch, and the food did not disappoint. The quality of the bread, was a particular highlight, and the Special of the Day roast beef sandwich was excellent. The lunch menu at €11 was great value with drink... More

If you just want to eat a great and tasty sandwich on the go (or stay on the first floor which is an option), I really recommend Cosi's sandwiches. It's fresh, prepared in real time in front of you, with the home made bread baked there and very tasty. It is more expensive than a regular sandwich but the 2-3... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères.
