My boyfriend took me to this restaurant as an evening meal on a long weekend away and it was definitely worth a visit. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The menu was amazing with a wide variety of choices, as was the drinks menu! The waiter recommended drinks to go with our dishes (and didn't just give us the... More

We had not booked but it was the same night as France was playing in the Euro semi final so there was no problem getting a table. I had the mussels to start with and they were delicious and plentiful. I then had the duck and it was a very generous serving which my husband gladly finished off for me.... More

One of our absolute favorites in Paris. The owner makes you feel so welcomed, the service is great as well as the food. I can easily recommend the duck (better be hungry!) the foie gras, the escargots and the beef. Make a reservation so you won't miss out.

Loved, loved, LOVEDDDD!!! Cute little place... Felt intimate and cozy, like I was visiting family. We had the escargot for appetizer, be careful, it's HOT! I burned my tongue because I couldn't wait to stuff my face. Hubby had the Filet de Boeuf with Foie Gras, and it was perfect. I had the Duck Breast, which was freaking great. We... More

Beautiful French food and excellent service. We ordered a range of dishes including escargot, mussels, duck, lamb shank and creme brûlée for dinner. Amazing. Did not disappoint. We also had a nice bottle of red wine. Don't miss it if you're in Paris. Go early otherwise it might be packed and you'll be disappointed. Such a great restaurant.

Our first great meal in Pais, a little place on the nicer side of Monmatre. Ignore the fact that sex shops galore line the main drag out of Abesses metro stop and head on up this street. Really friendly, can help in english if needed, and enjoyed the wine recommendation. Food excellent, we couldn't resist going for dessert and it... More

Perfect place to eat in Montemart! Not in the tourist zone. Food was divine and traditional. Best creme brûlée I've had in Paris.

Such an amazing find down a small street in busy Montmartre. The welcome was great as was the service throughout the whole time that we were there. The food was beautifully cooked - I had the duck which was lovely (if not too much). We will definitely return.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
