Had Sunday brunch with family and friends. Options for mains are limited : ham with cheese on a toast or smoked salmon but both are excellent. The potatoes are deliciously done and the vinaigrette for the salad special too. Decor is that of a traditional...More

We were searching along the street and chose badly. I can't blame this cafe for serving brunch on a Sunday morning-they definitely advertised the fact and with only two choices of meals -both the same except a choice of salmon or ham and cheese. If...More

Scruffy looking restaurant but packed to the rafters the day we went for lunch. Good menu that changes daily. I had the chicken and lemon casserole with courgettes, chicken just fell off the bone, all gooey and unctuous. My son had the fish with bulgar...More

Was in an out so quickly I hardly had time to absorb the experience, however the food was absolutely tasty. The wine was superb ...even if I did just order a glass of merlot. The service was friendly and fast, totally not what one expects...More

Adjacent to the Canal St. Marten, stopped in for a glass of wine and some cheese. I cannot think of a better place to chill on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. A chill Höl joint for people watching and conversation.

Popped in here for a brunch before checking in to an apartment. Had a bit of time to kill so went for a coffee and, as the croissants had all gone, had a tartine instead. Came as half a baguette, buttered. No jam/marmalade. I then...More

After getting breakfast here almost every day, we finally got a sunny afternoon to sit on the sidewalk cafe and enjoy a few drinks while people watching. It's the perfect spot for it, with great views of the canal. The staff is pretty reserved, but...More

Located in the hip, Canal St. Martin area of Paris, Chez Prune is a great option for anyone visiting. It's a very local spot and no one around us spoke English though our waiter was conversational and tried to help us with the menu as...More

I had lunch with friends in March. We ordered couscous and Thai beef with basil. I think their menu changes often though. It was excellent, the service was great too, very friendly and fast. Dessert was great too! The neighborhood is also fun: up and...More

Canal Saint-Martin
The tree-lined Canal Saint-Martin is the focal point
of one of the most romantic and hip areas of Paris.
Watch boats travel along the canal while lovers and
friends take in the atmosphere from the banks or the
bridges. Evenings see hoards fill the embankments to
drink wine and enjoy good company. The colder days
lead people to hipster bars, cozy restaurants, and
concert spaces. Those who are more adventurous may

I'd be really surprised if it wasn't. This is not a posh restaurant. It services a lot of locals so I should think it is open all year round.
