On Valentine’s evening we had a reservation at restaurant Chez Les Anges near our Paris appartement. Overall food was good and well prepared, but quite high priced for what you get, so price / quality is not in balance. Also one waiter was always in...a rush and took one of our plates even when my partner was still eating ...More

French food at its finest and sublime service in a fancy ambiance for a fair price. One of the best in its area.

We were looking for an authentic French restaurant at a reasonable price in Paris - not that easy! Chez les Anges manages to provide this experience though, particularly if you choose the 3 course menu at a very reasonable 37 euro. The restaurant has a...great ambience and the staff are very professional and helpful. We took the 3 course option and were all very happy with it. The food is excellent and the portions very generous. If you are looking for something much, much better than the average brasseries - which can be hit and miss - and not wanting to spend a fortune this is an excellent choice.More

This restaurant is history. In the late 20th century Chez les Anges was a very sought after place, quoted in the famous Michelin guide. After management change started a kind of decline for a while, disappearing from the Michelin guide in the year 2000 release,...with a menu which looked like a joke to some extent with an horribly high priced aged sardines in oil in cans ... A few years ago another new management relooked the place and I must admit it took me some time to come back. I must say first that it is all different today. The remodeling was successful with a huge and nice marble like counter in the middle of the room, all white with black stains. The light is not to strong and gives some privacy. You can find nice tables also on the side along the street shop window. Welcoming is fine, service is good, they propose a value menu in 3 courses for 37 euros that is a good deal and icing on the cake, you can Bring Your Own Wine for a small cork fee of 20 euros! This day we ordered the 3 courses menu : calmar for appetizer, pig belly as main course and cheese to finish. the plates ranged from good to very good. I put this restaurant on my list for the next time.More

A representative French restaurant that is fairly priced. Wines are quite good. Ambiance is very nice, as well.

It was my birthday, and we celebrated it on this beautiful restaurant. It is a very stylish restaurant and the food was as good as you can wish. We had a very nice wine, and tryed to buy it in a couple of wineshops, a...few days later, but no. If I should recommend just one restsurant in Paris, I should say thisone. We will return som day. And an extra plus to the professionell staff! Thank you!More

Chez Les Anges is a romantic place with a nice stylish ambiance and excellent service. This was our second visit, and we liked it better the first time around. Nice fresh oysters with mignonette and a tender stewed beef dish; nice wine list. This time...the roasted Bresse chicken was rather tough to cut and chewy, not living up to what we expected from last time. Nice wine list with some reasonable choices. Finished with some tasty crepes suzettes.More
