We went having read the mixed reviews but hopeful that the bad ones were wrong... they weren’t. Food is below average, extremely overpriced; though the portions are very big - note, the portions are BIG not generous because they’re basically putting 2 portions in each...More

Women of a certain age beware: Chez L’Ami Louis is not the place for a quiet Sunday night dinner in Paris unless you are accompanied by a man. Banished to the furthermost table and all but ignored, with four waiters clustered near the kitchen deep...More

Escargot to die for. Large, sizzling, perfectly seasoned. Crispy succulent large roasted chicken - the best you will ever have. Double cut ribeye with garlic butter perfectly cooked. Heaping French fries wii keep you busy all night. Not to be missed.

It isn’t easy to get a table here but trust me it’s worth it! It has only 12 tables and the food couldn’t be more local, the escargots are amazing, the fries are irresistible and the whole menu is delicious. Good to order several things...More

I have bene here with 2 Japanese colleagues that remember this place from the early year 2000. They really wanted to go back. Ok, food is good, but that's it: it is good. 435€ for 3 persons, 1 bottle of rose wine, chicken and foie...More

It’s a very authentic place since the early 1900 it never changed but off course it kept itself upto date. The food although the founder passed away some years ago kept its old recipes and making sure that customers get what they came for a...More

I’ve now been here 4 times over a number of years and the food never disappoints. Tonight I went with friends who were staying at a different hotel. Their concierge told them absolutely not to go, but since I was paying they had to. We...More

I rarely make the time to write a restaurant review but I will make the time in this case- I don’t cook and eat out almost all meals so I offer a reasonably educated opinion. When I spend 300euro for a meal I should enjoy...More

Went to this restaurant on recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately, we were very DISAPPOINTED. Beef dish was served raw, appetizer served before I was shown wine list, servers inattentive and never came back to ask about food. We were seated by door and all attention...More

They will love the roasted chicken and fries. No kids menu, I was there and saw little well behaved kids on my last visit. Be prepared to spend 1000.00 or more for your group
