We have eaten here so many times now and always go back. Bit of a rough area but we haven't ever had any problems. They own this restaurant and the one next door. It's a Brettony style menu. If you go on a weekend they do an amazing brunch. You go and help yourself to staters (lovely salads) and deserts... More

I doubt you would ever just walk into this place off the street expecting a serious meal. But you would be wrong. Forget the atmosphere and head right to the kitchen (metaphorically). You will find a chef, from Brittany, who loves to cook delicious, hearty dishes. The night i was there he had a special of barbue (related to turbot)... More

For 30Euros each you get to fill your boots from the buffet with excellent salads, hot cheese, herrings, terrine, bread and much more, with unlimited repeat vists. Then there is a hot course, which you get whether you want it or not and it's just a shame if you don't eat it. We had mussels and an omelette. Then a... More

Not many places offer a proper brunch on week-ends. Chez Casimir does, with a generous range of starters, mains, desserts. Service isn't great, as they get spoilt with a constant stream of one-time-tourists.

Not the typical US style brunch (no eggs Benny) but loads of outrageously tasty French dishes to graze buffet style, complimented by the plats du jour. we had moules, herb omelette and wild boar casserole. Great wines from a serve yourself cave! Be prepared for gluttony!

I visited this restaurant after a friend's recommendation. It has a very traditional Parisian decor, nothing out of ordinary. I think that it is frequented by locals and tourists as well. I ordered a fixed menu and I was very happy. As a starter I had fish soup which was very tasty, and in my opinion the best of the... More

This restaurant is a friendly, laid back way to experience French cuisine at its best. The rabbit, the fish soup and the breath-taking cheese platter were unforgettable!

Went to this fabulous neighbourhood bistro twice, once for dinner, and enjoyed it so much we managed to squeeze lunch in before catching the Eurostar home. The set menu is great value with the venison casserole and the amazing cheese board the most memorable dishes from a very good menu. One note of caution. The Pic St Loup is one of... More

I agree with another reviewer who called this restaurant "unpretentious". The place doesn't look like much at first glance but the food and experience were truly exceptional. You are greeted with a long, handwritten wine list. At lunch you can choose from reduced "menus" but at dinner everyone must take: entrée, plat, cheese plate and dessert, so come hungry! The...
