We wanted escargot and we got it ! The restaurant is indicated as one of the best for escargot and they serve as appetizers in the very traditional way. Location is close to Champs Elisee (5 mins walking) ; there are for sure better locations in Paris but the place is nice, without excess. Standard 'kindness' of Parisian staff, no... More

Have eaten here several times over the past 40 years. Menu is French classic with hearty seafood and meat dishes prepared simply. Known for its roast chicken and frites. I had la house salad followed by leg of lamb served roasted garlic and mashed potatoes.

Went here for dinner as a recommendation from the hotel. We showed up early since we didn't have reservations. When we first asked for a table they said they were booked, but they found us a table. The food was phenomenal! The staff was very friendly. I am so happy we were able to get a table. I will definitely... More

Always good. Consistency is the mark of a good restaurant- cozy seating, excellent food. Good service, good wine list. Daily specials are always the best bet. We go several times on each Paris visit. A favorite for many years.

We had a table in the outside side walk which was divine! Wine and food .... Excellent! I think I had more wine than food ..... what a great evening!

My french man and I stopped over for a quick lunch and found ourselves rather pleased with the menu. The endive salad with roquefort and the tuna and avocado tartar was excellent. The staff friendly.

Great old bistro in the center of everything! We had an amazing foie gras followed by the best creme brûlée ever. Service was charming, our best dining experience in Paris!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant due to its proximity and reliable food and service. This resto makes traditional french dishes so we had escargots, frog legs, coq au vin and dover sole. The fried calamari apetizer was small and not worth it for Euro 11.

I've been going to Chez Andre for 7 years, every time I visit Paris. The Parisienne inside of me thinks this is the best place to go. It's always the same people who work there and who done there. The staff is always so happy and so chilled. The food is always so heart warming. I will always stop by,... More

We were recommended by our concierge and were pleased. The restaurant was populated mostly by locals. On the walls were pix of many American movie stars from last century. The food and service were very good.. We would return any time.
