We keep coming back to the Moderne because the food is always very good and very inventive. Excellent service and a very inviting atmosphere. Very elegant, but for a reasonable price. Good central convenient location. Just superb.

I suppose some of the negative comments from Parisians here on TripAdvisor are from their competitors as there is really no fault to be found at Le Moderne. Very affordable menu, with quality products, quality finishing and quality service. And a decent wine list to...More

Really average in my opinion the dishes were globally disapointing the truit was simply ok, the bar was fine but the chocolate sous was below average. The price are really acceptable and the staf was ok.

Consistent inventive cuisine, beautifully-presented by professional servers who make us feel welcome. We've dined here about a dozen of times over the years and will continue to return. Very modern cuisine, a luxury feel, yet it's a relaxed atmosphere. Good central location. One of our...More

To celebrate our anniversary, we had dinner here and decided to choose the "menu degustation" consisting of 6 courses each, with 2 glasses of wine paired with the first and second 3 dishes! The serving staff informed us the dishes would be a surprise but,...More

Went here with colleagues for a business dinner, and we were well welcomed by the staff, who made a good effort to accommodate the fact that some of us did not speak French. The wine we were served was really excellent, and the food was...More

Great and warm service led by Anne-Sophie. Inventive and delicious starters and entrées. Light and tasty desserts. We come as neighbors in this restaurant and are never disappointed.

The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle

modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th

Le Caf Moderne restaurant in Paris opposite the old Bourse what a lot of fun with what a lot of style. Just like it says on the sign, this is a brilliantly modern, chic caf with classic colours of cream-coloured walls, burgundy banquettes and upholstery, tables dressed in white and a constantly-changing array of artworks by exciting new artists. The bar area is dressed like a wine cave, with wooden wine crates standing in for side tables. Wines are passionately tested, scrupulously stored and enthusiastically offered here on Monday nights great wines are sold at cost, an incredible bargain. The menu is both classic and modern, with dishes like roast veal with mushroom fricassee and sage jus. Lunchtimes its heaving with bankers and heavy hitters, but much quieter in the evenings.
