We visited the restaurant for a birthday meal. Food was gorgeous, service was lovely, and the view was absolutely stunning. Will say that it isnt for a small budget, the 3 course tasting dinner menu is €128 euros each, and the cheapest beer is €16 euros, with cocktails charged at €26 euros each. Worth it for a special occasion, an evening to remember

This was our favorite high end restaurant in Paris for a recent mother daughter trip! We went on a weekday for the lunch menu, 95 euros pp, and also got 2 half bottles for a total of ~350 euros. All of the food was excellent. Stand outs included ravioli potagers, scallop tartare, and the vanilla bean dessert. I might suggest the bread be a bit less crusty so it is easier to eat but it was still tasty. We loved the amuse bouches and petit fours that started and ended the meal (be sure to end with a coffee). Also loved that the team was so warm and friendly, and there is an incredible patio to take photos on before or after. Will definitely return!

What a fantastic experience we had at this super restaurant. I've been lucky enough to have eaten in many great restaurants around the world, in New York, London, LA, Chicago, Dubai, Tokyo and Paris itself and L'Oiseau Blanc is up there with the very best. The food is excellent, I had the tagliatelle to start which was delicious as was my main course of Turbot with cuttlefish ink. My wife is a vegetarian and they really catered for her very well with an off-menu main course which she loved. The bread was fantastic with delicious butter which is delivered from Brittany by what sounds like a wonderfully quirky farmer! The deserts and the wine selection were also superb and the sommelier is on hand to help with any recommendations and advice. All the staff are friendly and engaging and were the best team I've experienced in any restaurant. The views from the restaurant are wonderful as you can imagine and it all comes together to give you an evening you won't forget. Highly recommended to give yourself a memorable occasion.

Did you know that lamb is a white meat? That's why it comes out, twice, super well done and not medium rare. At least that's the nonsense that Stephane actually said to me as though I have a cognitive disability. The first time the lamb for two came out well done, the excuse was we ordered it that way. After I explained that the waitress was being untruthful and I have never said the words well done in a restaurant in my life, Stephane showed up to tell me it comes out gray because lamb is a "white meat". You know, like pork. Finally he said he would have them make another medium rare. The picture is him cutting the second one. Guess what? Gray again. And it was our fault again because the chef felt pressured to get another one out fast so the cook turned up the heat to rush it. So first they make stuff up and then it's again not their fault. So I wind up paying for two $90 lobster appetizers and a bottle of wine and walk out with a $300 lunch bill with no lunch. One would assume they would have been mortified enough to not charge a dime for ruining the lunch and for insulting our intelligence, but no. How are they not embarrassed? Stay away. Oh by the way, the lovely French couple sitting next to us got their lamb as we were leaving and it was medium rare. Stephane must have found a red lamb somewhere in the kitchen.

L'Oiseau Blanc's website states its dress code as "elegant and chic," but most of the clientelle don't follow it. Given its Micihelin rating and this specification, one would expect quite a high level of service. ,,,which is the reason we were surprised when a waiter attempted to deliver the wrong dish and the sommelier failed to pour wine in a timely manner. The cuisine clings to an outdated style, with sauces that border on cloying. The vegetable tagliatelle noodles make an attempt at being up to date, but are again finished with a cheese sauce that tasted faintly like Velveeta. The bread, however, is amazing and delicious. We asked if we might take home the remainder of it at the end of the meal, but were told that "due to COVID" we could not do so. We wondered, with all the take-away that's been part of the COVID period, how could that be true? The meal ended on another disappointing note with presentation of our bill, whichvincluded an extra that we did not order. We were not surprised.

The setting and the views from this restaurant (e.g. on the Eiffel Tower) are magic, but that's where it stops. The food was what I would call old-fashioned French cuisine with a farfetched modern twist and not to our liking. In addition, the staff was pretty disorganized and some of the dishes were close to cold when they reached our table. We can NOT recommend this restaurant.

The team at Oiseau blanc are a first class outfit. From arrival to departure you are treated as expected in an establishment of this caliber. We started with delicious amuse Bouche followed by scrumptious delights fro the chef. Truffle ravioli, scallop bites and mushroom pate. Hubby had Oysters to start with leeks followed by Sea bream and citrus carrot sauce. I had leeks with truffles and Turbot which was divine. The wine was served at the appropriate times and we thoroughly enjoyed possibly the best lunch of our trip. If you want a delicious lunch overlooking the Eiffel Tower, don’t hesitate….visit oiseau blanc. I would like to especially thank Gregory for making our lunch a memorable one. See you again soon

The restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the very opulent Peninsula Hotel in Paris near the Arc De Triomphe. The ambience is quite lovely with an excellent view of the magnificent Eiffel Tower which looks better at night. Service was efficient but sometimes a bit cold. Typical I suppose of parisien restaurants. We chose the degustation menu. The first two starters were not bad. The leek dish was especially tasty. Unfortunately the rest of the food was extremely salty and the grouse was awful - tough and almost inedible. Dessert was terrible as well - sour beyond words. €600 plus for 2 persons. Skip this place unless you’re desperate for a restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

My husband and I had lunch reservations here for months and we were coming to Paris from Spain on our honeymoon. Our reservations were at 13:30 pm and we were supposed to arrive in Paris at 13:00. However, our flight was delayed an hour so we called to ask if we could come 30 minutes later than our reservation and they told us no because the kitchen closed at 14:00 (only 30 minutes after our original reservation). We said we understood and then hung up. 10 minutes later we were charged 200£ for missing our reservation. We understand it is a restaurant in high demand, however, there is no room for flexibility and we were not notified we would be charged. Paris is full of incredible restaurants with extremely friendly owners, so I would recommend skipping this one!

Environment is nice, roof-top view with Eiffel Tower on your eyes. However, the foods are not up to 2 stars Michelin restaurant quality. The balancing between the sauces and the meat is not well, bit more sour on the main course than it should be. The worse part is the services, the timing on presenting each dishes is uneven, the timing on presenting the dessert is seriously delayed on my table. We saw our dessert is letting outside for a long time before presenting to us. It is ovbious that they are under manpower, not enough staff to take care each table. Moreover, the staff is lack of smiling, they are not wholeheartedly serving the guests, and no one came to ask about the feeling on the meal. We are honestly not enjoying eating here. Not a enjoyable time being here is Paris.

This beautiful restaurant has left the best experience of why it’s called a Mechlin star restaurant ! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes,Beautiful bread and soft and best texture butter in the world and the beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful desserts, I can recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again for sure. I can give five ⭐️ to Tristan - the person who attended us was incredible at his work- he was explaining us each and every dish with all the required information and at perfect timing.

I had booked a lunch date at L'Oiseau Blanc with my husband for our trip to Paris in December 2022 - and we were not disappointed. The view was absolutely fabulous, but that's not the only thing that stands out in the restaurant. Every bit of decor is carefully considered (as tribute to the first plane to make the North Atlantic crossing) everything had an aviation theme to it - down to the tablecloth with clouds, and the bathroom interior so cleverly designed with plane wings for tap handles! Service was fantastic, everyone was professional, courteous and attentive. The food! The food was fabulous - we tried the black truffle menu and tried different types of food that all blended so well together. Be prepared to really love truffle though! Thank you you for making our visit so amazing!

I took my mom to Paris for a week. This is the 3rd of 4 Michelin starred restaurants I booked for my Mom’s Birthday and Mother’s Day. The tasting menu was delicious! The view was amazing. I’m sure it’s better at night but they ran out of spots for dinner. Just like other Michelin starred restaurants, you have to book it at least 2 months or more in advance (if they release slots that early). Full review is in my YouTube channel later: Keno Good Vibes Only. Cheers! ^___^

What a great entourage! Beautiful hotel entry and also the restaurant looks very nice with all kinds of aviation references, up to the toilet taps. Great attention for detail. And of course the view is marvelous. The food was of a consistent and very high quality. We enjoyed the scallops on smoked cauliflower a lot, as well as most of the amuses and the pigeon side dish. The dessert with tobacco leaves was just extraordinary! Wines were good overall. We loved the riesling (that also was priced accordingly), but didn't like the Jura. Staff was very friendly, although we noticed a change in experience/quality when we stayed a bit longer and the first shift of staff was replaced by a new shift. Overall we enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the great day!

Be aware of their cancellation policy! You have 48 hours to cancel your reservation without being considered a “no show” and even if you comply with this policy, don’t hang up the phone until you have received a confirmation of cancellation email in your inbox! In the event they don’t complete the cancellation process before you hang up, they will charge you 100 euros per person on the reservation, yell at you when you provide the date and time you called, before eventually refusing to speak to you at all. Save yourself the hassle and the mediocre experience and eat at any of the other thousand restaurants in Paris.
