This was my second visit. The lighting was too bright, as before, but the restayrant still had some marvellous locals (an elderly lady dining alone and an elderly couple who had brought their cat in a Louis Vuitton carrier). This time, though, I was more...More

My husband and I feel totally different from all of the bad reviews written. A friend recommended to us the famous, historical Brasserie Lipp and we enjoyed the charm along with a great Parisian meal and attentive service. Timing is everything! If you don't expect...More

The restaurant was exactly what we expected. We thought that it would be full of tourists and we were correct. We were seated upstairs ( steep staircase) and were given an English speaking waiter. The food was alright, nothing I would rave about. I would...More

The essence of old, snotty waiters. If you can take that, the food is great, and the atmosphere wonderful.

A real old world restaurant in the heart of Paris. After terrible service at the Dome in Montparnasse, it was a relief to find a good restaurant with polite service, good food, and incredible ambiance. Try and get a table downstairs so you can see...More

The sort of place you would almost expect to find in Paris but are still pleased when you do. Very good food, attentive service, charming experience.

On our way into Paris from CDG after a long flight, our taxi driver Guillaume kept up a running commentary on what he thought we should do/see/eat etc. As he drove on Blvd St. Germain, he pointed out Brasserie, Lipp, Café Flore and Deux Maggots...More

It's an elegant cafe/restaurant. But don't expect the welcome to be warm. The waiters tend to treat you as if they were the customers and were paying you. The food is good but not great. The whole place reeks of the sense that they know...More

dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops,
ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
