This nice and well maintained brasserie is always a safe tip when you go out for business dinner with guests from abroad ... the menu is full of traditional French specialities like Plat Royal, various types of oysters, crab salad, beef tartar, ... and for the main course we had fish in salt crust - great! And finally the desert... More

You never know what to expect unless you know the server. I also recommended the place to some of my friends and they were disappointed, so all in all I would not recommend it.

I really enjoy coming here at any time of the year. The food is terrific, especially the seafood, try the oysters - I prefer those from the Charente Maritime!

The food here was beautiful. We had a lovely meal sitting outside. Lobster and rack of lamb. Great food with good service.

It may be because of the summer holidays but on this occasion standards have slipped at Brasserie Lorraine. Slow ineffective service, poor food quality and presentation and cold steak. How can you justify a bill of over 140 Francs ( for 2 persons ) for either a piece of meat, or small piece of fish with a baby gem lettuce.... More

This restaurant was recommended as the place to go for sea food and it sure lived up to its reputation. The quality of the food was very good and it was full and the service kit as sleek as I would have liked. Will I go back? Absolutely and do I Recommend the restaurant. A resounding yes. Great lunch on... More

We came at midnight (open until 2am!!) And had a seafood platter with Escagots on the side. Can't complain! It was DELICIOUS!!! come for the food stay for the Parisian feel.. Might be a bit expensive for some, but at a treat it really is one of a kind.

We enjoyed the St Pierre (John Dory) fish thoroughly; the mussels, clams and oysters were good. The head waiter was brash and always in a hurry; soufflé must be ordered with starters - really very good. On the whole good but not outstanding.

Brasserie La Lorraine restaurant right on Paris Place des Ternes near the Etoile offers a visit to another era, an elegant, superbly stylish one at that. Since the 1930s Brasserie La Lorraine has been one of the capitals landmarks, and it retains its fabulous Art Nouveau interior with hundred year-old mosaics, crystal chandeliers, sleekly styled seating and detailing (think ocean liner of the Noel Coward era and you wont be far off). The classic brasserie menu features fine ingredients in dishes like fresh oysters, grilled entrecote with barnaise and pommes frites, and babas au rhum, though the seafood is renowned for its excellence. Theres a terrace and everything is service with the personal touch.
