First time in Paris? Don't miss!

Great food, all typical French dishes at high quality. Fantastic setting, the interior is amazing. Average service level: friendly but very slow.

Wonderful old word, art-deco charm in a lively brasserie on rue St Denis. The food was delicious, especially the salmon, their plat de jour, and profiteroles, their specialty.

Great little find thanks to trip advisor. Looks tiny and plain from outside but inside is amazing. The decor is opulent and the food and service was fabulous. The only negative was cold plates. Full of Parisiennes on a Sunday night can only be a good thing too.

We selected Brasserie Julien because it looked like a really good french brasserie to celebrate a big birthday. We booked for 16 people and organised a bespoke menu with the restaurant as part of their events service. The experience did not disappoint. The ambience was great, the food excellent and the service was fantastic. Thank you Brasserie Julien for making... More

Situated I a quaint street, the decor is traditional French. High ceilings and lovely large mirrors. As a group of 16 we had to order in advance, which is fine but they messed up with some of the starters. The mushroom soup was cold but tasty. Steak was delicious. The profiteroles about as good as it gets. The waitress service... More

This restaurant is great! Despite the large number of tourists visiting, not all staff speaks english very well, but it has its charm. The food (3 course menu) was very good and the whole atmosphere created a lovely experience.

Went for lunch on New Year's eve, expecting it to be rammed but in fact we could pick our table. The charming maitre d' welcomed us with complimentary champagne. After 2 excellent menus (3 delicious and substantial courses for 25 Euros) and a bottle of wine, we were amazed to be given another 2 glasses of champagne. Weaving a little,... More

What a lovely interior. This is the authentic old French brasserie. Great ambiance. The food was a bit disappointing. My daughter and I chose the 3-course menu for € 39,- We had the foie gras for starter. Bread was toasted on only one side and the foie gras was "oké". For main I had the poultry with morilles. It had... More
