The foie gras frais de canard was so smooth and buttery! Great Wine selection. It is a bit off the beaten path and a challenge to find but a favorite of locals. If you want cuisine meant for locals and not a tourists, this is your place!

From the outside you can't imagine the richness of what's inside. An old cabaret now handled by a family. Service was fast and perfect, menu was complete, food was really excellent. And guess what you're not killed by the bill after such a good moment

A small but very interesting regional menu at a very reasonable price. This place was buzzing on a Thursday evening - but not with tourists. We started with a glass of sangria and complimentary pork rillette. We then had the speciality red peppers stuffed with cod which was delicious. Finally we both had the knuckle (shank) of lamb cooked with... More

My husband and I stayed at Le Vert Galant which this restaurant is adjacent to. Shame we left it to the last night to visit! Great personal service and the food was excellent. My duck confit was very good and my husband and uncle enjoyed the sausage and bean cassoulet! Dessert was delicious and decadent! Cosy and friendly vibes. Would... More

Excellent prix fixe menu, fabulous Basquaise food. They found us a table outside despite being full.

Had the confit de Canard. A bit of a disappointment as wanted and asked for it very crispy. Conveniently located beside the hotel

This is a great little restaurant, not far from Place d'Italie, cosy and charming, and serving some great food. Unlike the case in some other reviews, we found the service on the night we visited to be quite friendly and once you engaged and talked with the ladies, they were quite cheery too! The food is flavoursome and with quite... More

Truly authentic French cuisine with a great atmosphere. The menu is tried and proven and has been served to local Parisiens for over 80 years. All dishes chosen were fantastic including; scallops with mushrooms, Duck Fais Gras, Beef Steak, Cheese with fig confit, and white cheese cake with milk chocolate sauce. A hidden gem that is well known by locals... More

The Escalope of Foie Gras excellent, the Chipirones also good, we took a small bottle of Madiran, tanic and good wine, fromage de brebis basque excellent, gat to basque also good, we sow that was prepear meson. Now the only problem was the service, the lady who served us was cold, not nice and not smiling :-(
