After scouring TripAdvisor for restaurant reviews for a nice meal to meet friends this was the restaurant that was selected. We were not disappointed. We made a reservation for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant is small and cozy with interesting decorations. The menu selection was traditional french. I had the French Onion soup and thought it was perfect for a... More

What a delicious meal. French onion soup was one of the best I have had and everyone enjoyed every mouthful. Would highly recommend.

Based on recent reviews at Tripadvisor, I expected more from the many options from the menu. We were a group of five and unfortunately this time nobody could say that his/her starter or main course was perfect. The food is good. The portions are generous. It is clear that the ingredients are from top quality and the price of the... More

Reservations are a must here as it is very small. We had been here 15 years ago and I am glad we came back. There was only one server and she handled the bar as well as the tables. She was efficient and pleasant despite the feverous pace. All 6 of us enjoyed out meals very much with some having... More

We met friends here for dinner last evening. A small restaurant with a very interesting menu. The food was well prepared, service was excellent and the cozy atmosphere was perfect. The escargot were outstanding and my beef was tender and tasty. Coffee was excellent Price very reasonable and I would return

This is a cozy space. The food is excellent and reasonable. Excellent service. The fine dining options on the island are incredible. I had a fantastic steak with amazing bordelaise. The after dinner champagne cocktail is not to be missed.

Cozy Resturant and great food at a decent price for 21euro you can get a starter and a main dish or a main dish and a dessert. There is limited seating so if your a large group you would definitely need to call in advance. I enjoyed the food so much that this is my second time eating here definitely... More

Located on the small island of Ile St Louis, close to Notre Dame, this quaint cozy restaurant was a favorite during our recent visit to Paris. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable with a curious collection of dollhouse furniture decorating the walls which gave it a quirky feel. The 20 euro menu allowed you to choose either an appetizer and... More

Even by French standards this restaurant has extremely slow service, 3.5 hours for 3- 2 course meals. The restaurant is very tiny and sweltering in late summer which made the wait intolerable. I have been here in winter and it was a cozy charming place with really excellent food and service. Unfortunately, the wait in the suffocating heat was so... More

We meet some friends for a lunch at Auberge de la Reine Blanche when we where in Paris. Loved the little quaint restaurant . At lunch time a lot of locals ate at the restaurant. So it isn't just a tourist place. Great traditional French food. My husband liked the French onion soup and I enjoyed the escargot , I... More

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
