I've had the good fortune of being in Paris a number of times and have eaten here on a few occasions. The atmosphere, food and service have always been good and this latest time was no exception. There are many great places to visit in Paris but I always like to walk along the river, cross over onto Ile de... More

was right around the corner from the apartment that we rented, they had great choices for lunch, very welcoming - my wife and I both had great meals (Beef Bourgenoine and Lamb Shank).

We arrived at our apt. about an hour earlier and came here for lunch. Not too far a walk for us. It was good, but not fabulous. I came with 2 older children so this wasn't a foodie vacation for us. They basically ate salad or pasta. I ordered the Auberge's salad. Fresh and plentiful. My daughter had the onion... More

We overwhelmed this tiny restaurant when a group of around 18 of us showed up for lunch. We had made a reservation, so I might have hoped that they would have been more prepared for us. It took over 30 minutes for a server to come to our end of the table to give us drinks and show us the... More

I had a good meal with standard quality. The restaurant was not so crowded but everyone else was a tourist. Good environment, friendly staff and the food was fine: entrecôte was not very tender but was tasty. Might return when some foreign acquaintances come visit.

The l'Isle Saint Louis was a disappointing place for us to stay and eat, because we were surrounded by Americans wherever we went, and we wanted a fully French vacation. The exception, where we found very good, real French country food with nice wine and friendly, prompt service, in a small room with an interesting variety of mostly French-speaking customers,... La Reine Blanche is Parisian charm at its best. Some would say crowded; I would say intimate. Very polite and attentive, helpful wait staff. In the heart of Ile Saint Louis, a few doors down from where we stayed. We started with the quintessential onion soup (as good as any I've ever tasted). The roasted leg of lamb was tender... More

My husband and I were spending the day exploring Ile St. Louis and came across this restaurant. Interestingly decorated with miniature furniture along the walls, the service was friendly and quick and the food was very delicious. We each enjoyed delicious choices from the fairly priced Prix Fix menu: an artichoke salad and lamb for myself and French Onion soup... More

The salmon tartare with lentils was excellent. The beef burgundy was delicious. I would describe the food as comfort traditional French. Every thing we had was very good and extremely reasonable price wise which is difficult to find in Paris. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying on Iles island.

We were staying on Ile Saint-Louis. This restaurant was recommended so we decided to give it a try. It was packed and we were lucky to get the last table. There was only one waitress who appeared to be run off her feet. The menu was reasonably priced, the food was absolutely delicious but we had to wait quite a... More

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
