I have been to Paris more times than I can count and have eaten at the top rated restaurants- gourmet and traditional. This restaurant , recommended by a foodie friend who had stumbled onto it, is hands down the best meal I have ever had in Paris! The food is delectable, portions are large and the quality and taste superb!... More

We had dinner here twice during a recent trip to Paris mainly because of the positive Tripadvisor reviews. We found it rather disappointing. On our first visit,we had coq au vin - not a particularly taxing dish. It was overcooked and rubbery. On our second visit, we had pasta with tomato sauce and smoked ham. The pasta was soggy; the... Oh my god. Amazing little bistro. Food was the best we'd had on a three day trip. It was a random choose but worth it

We were wandering, got hungry, and stopped in here without a res late on a Sunday evening. To be honest we were drawn in by the 39 euro prix fixe -- kir, entree, plat, dessert, unlimited house wine, and they threw in the coffee. We both thought the food was unexpectedly good. I had the salmon tartare with lentils and... More

After scouring TripAdvisor for restaurant reviews for a nice meal to meet friends this was the restaurant that was selected. We were not disappointed. We made a reservation for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant is small and cozy with interesting decorations. The menu selection was traditional french. I had the French Onion soup and thought it was perfect for a... More

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
