Freshly made, amazing food. The staff was extremely friendly and spoke English well. We saw couples, friends and a family (no children) dining here. White table cloths made the restaurant feel extremely fancy although it looks small and unassuming from the outside.

Having booked based from a friends recommendation, we walked into the bistro you imagine and have seen from plenty of french films. The critical difference? Walking out having made new friends. From the taste of the escargot to their patience with our abysmal french pronunciations,...More

We loved Au Moulin a Vent for its fine traditional cuisine and cozy warm atmosphere. It’s old fashioned ( open since 1946) and homey, and especially good for meat eaters. The Chateaubriand and Magret were both excellent. It’s a short walk from Ile. St.Louis.

We have returned here several times over 2 years. Great dishes we have had : shrimp and scallops a la Provencale for Madame and beef bourguignon , veal, or chateaubriand with bearnaise sauce for me. The sauted potatoes are a must. Floating island for dessert....More

Didn't expect this restaurant to be as good as it was at the given location, close to the Sorbonne - Jussieu. Great food and service.

There are many brasseries around town but few like this one. Trust me... excellent food (I tried quite a few dishes). Do not leave without trying the chateau briand (without pepper sauce).
