Wow experience!!!!!!!!! My best restaurant in Paris. I love everything about this place. The food, the place, the decorations, the area and everything else. This restaurant was built since 1728 and still has the original look since. The beautiful crystal chandeliers, the antique furniture, the huge curved wood mirrors and the amazing old paintings. It was built by the same... More

Amazing food, impeccable (if somewhat stilted) service, wonderful old word decor and a fabulous wine list. We celebrated a romantic dinner here, and although it is a tad loud (echoey) it works perfectly given how different it is to most eateries. It is NOT cheap, but it is worth it for the experience. Meal portions are good sized, unless you... More

Perhaps one of my best dining experiences ever. I'm a huge Marquis de Lafayette fan, so I had to come here for dinner. My wife and I opted for the 6 course tasting menu, but we were actually served 8 courses. The staff were attentive and very professional. The food was fantastic and we left very satisfied. I will definitely... More

We were very impressed by the beautiful photos of the restaurant online and the fact that they advertised a 35 euro two-course dinner and a 45 euro three course dinner. Therefore, we booked a reservation and were pleased with the amazing French decor, with chandeliers, oil paintings, and candles. However, after sitting down to eat, all of the magic disappeared... First of all, the place is incredibely beautiful. The decor is amazing. The paintings are museum-level. Secondly, the food was delicious. Me and my boyfriend took a degustation menu. I liked the idea that waiter asked us if there is something that we don't like or we're allergic, I explained, that I don't like seafood, so my boyfriend got octopus... More

This restaurant came with a great reputation, but ended up being a great disappointment. On first impression the restaurant had magnificent decor and history. We were guided to our table, ordered the requisite bubbles and heard all about the menu. It sounded delicious. The amuse Bouche was very tasty but not described - a cheese biscuit with dollup of melon,... More

This is a very expensive restaurant but is well worth it. The food is amazing and beautifully presented. It is very old fashioned and traditional but if you want an experience that is typically French this is the place to go.

Restaurant staff very attentive from start to finish. I loved that they recommended a wine that they felt was to our liking rather that the most expensive on the menu. The Maître de was especially attentive and made us feel very welcome . I fully recommend this place well worth a visit you will not be be disappointed.

The restaurant is beautiful and worth a visit to admire the decor alone. We were disappointed that despite having booked months in advance, and having reconfirmed the day prior to our reservation, the staff did not inform us that their full tasting menu (shown on their website, including on the day of our visit) would not be available during our... This is a good choice if you try to eat light in a very nice environment. Both the service and the food are good but I found that the fillet de boeuf was really tiny and the price of 43 euros for 3 small bites was exaggerated...
