There were 4 of us waiting for a seat. Us were not told that there was enough space inside. We had to look around and ask the staff ourselves. Then we were seated by the staff but then the manager came and asked us to...get up again because the space was for 6 people and not 4. The place was free all evening and there were enough other places. We are disappointed with this communication. We waited over 30 minutes for service. This restaurant should really be ashamed of itself, I've never experienced anything like it and I've traveled often. For these prices the restaurant has to offer more quality.More

We’ll you couldn’t ask for a better view. The Eiffel Tower was just a few feet away. That is really how we picked the restaurant. We asked at the hotel what was close to the Eiffel Tower so we could have dinner then just go...a few steps away to watch the light show that starts at dusk. It worked out great. We ordered a cheese plate, linguine, and salad. After a few tries we got the right food. My French and the waitress’s English did not correspond. But everyone was so nice and worked hard in their busy place.More

Very disapointed with the staff here. If you’re in six, you don’t get to choose a table in the terasse, even if it has a lot of empty tables. Service here in Café Du Trocadero is one of the reasons parisians are known as such...an unpolite and rude people. The manager is especially rude, almost send us away! Anyway, don’t go!More

The food was terrible. Steak was so hard, even medium done, and the price was 42 €. My wife is a vegan and she told them what to put in her salad, but they did not listen to her and they put what they had...in original salad. We paid 110 € for one steak, one salad and two glases of red wine.More

Without question one of the most romantic restaurants in Paris. Yes it can be busy but I think that’s part of the charm. Take a front row seat and watch the world go by. If you go in the late evening it’s even better as...you get a front row seat view of the Eiffel Tower illuminations which occur on the hour till 1am. Staff here are extremely polished as you would expect.More

The place was not crowded when we arrived and we were sitted fast and order a snack and a soup. But took more than 40 minutes to serve it. The quality was not that worthy to wait that time and pay that price.

the food is over priced, the portions are small and my salmon tasted off. The bread was crisping away like a digestive, the fries were over-fried and had more oil than the Saudis! The bill left me partially blind and left me confused and dizzy....I honestly cannot believe how bad the place was. Food aside - they have a cctv camera in the loo! Felt like I was being watched by Big Brother whilst doing my business. Wrong in every possible way! Avoid!More

Avoid this place if you are not French. Very poorly attended. I was without wifi and to see the menu (QR code) I needed wifi but the waiter didn’t understand that and didn’t give me the wifi password properly so I had to leave.

Just in front of the TOUR EIFFEL, classic French meals. We loved it. Even the cocktails were amazing. And the view is incredible.

I ate twice at this cafe, once for breakfast and once for dinner. I enjoyed both meals. Most memorable was the "soupe à l'oignon": I ate this dish at three or four restaurents in Paris and Avignon, and the one at Cafe du Trocadero was...by far the best. The waiters were polite and willing to assist you even while burdened by waiting a number of other tables. And then there is the view of the Eiffel Tower across the Seine from the restaurant!More

Having visited some lovely places in Paris, this was the worst of them all. Decor is lovely, seating plan is squashed, you have to breathe in everyone's cigarette smoke, even inside as it comes in through the open sides. The service was poor Drinks over...priced and ok at best. The food was AWFUL. I ordered the chicken supreme which had HAIR on it, I left it and just ate the slither of mash for €28. Seriously over priced. The staff know its poor, the waitress didn't even ask if there was an issue with the food or if things were fine just took the food and bought the bill with a heavy service duty. Avoid like the plague. The view of the eiffel tower isn't even a full view its partial and blocked by trees.More
