Amazing pizza, the crust was tasty, nice use of the mozzarella instead of Emmenthal, fun and social atmosphere,
Delicious and a kind host, who has stories to tell. Nick is fun and dedicated. His Pizzas are delicious and fresh. My spot in Paris.
What a cool Guy!! The founder and Chef of this lovely tradition of great gastronomic Pizza!!! It’s a very small pizza place that has customers continuously popping in and popping out. There is some space to sit at the high benches if you want !...Nick converses well and makes you feel welcome! A very humble man with all intentions to bring a smile to your face when you have that first bite of pizza!! You won’t see drinks when you first pop in but there is drinks available from the dispenser in the corner! I especially like the ‘Nick Cola lite’ have a read of the rebranded labels nice bit of fun and humour! Will be revisiting this place 100% I’m over the moon that we managed to accidentally stumble on this place and then to find out as I write this review there are people that have the same warm reception here! Thanking you kindly Nick!! See you Soon!!More
Nick, the owner, is from Brooklyn and he serves his New York style pizza in a lively area in Paris. The place is small, service is very friendly, and you can buy pizza by the slice. Vegetarian pizza is available.
Nick’s is not really a sit-down place, although there are about eight high stools along a very narrow ledge where you can perch and scoff your pizza. They are geared more for take-away and on-line ordering where your pizzas get delivered to your hotel. But,...Nick’s serves the closest thing I’ve tasted to the best New York thin-crust pizzas ( see my review of Juliana’s in Brooklyn) so I’m happy to give them 5 stars. They only make one size, 50cm across. You can buy by the slice or a whole pie. Yes, they are semi-cooked first but then finished in the oven and served up on a paper plate, piping hot. My slices ( could only manage 2, so big) were not rubbery, as another reviewer found. Quality was excellent. We consumed six slices between us plus three soft drinks, cost €30. Seemed reasonable to me. Recommended! Kim W, Gippsland, AustraliaMore
Veeeeeeeeeery good food!! I tried the Margherita pizza and it was really good. Also the pain d'ail was very good
I tried this pizza when i visited Paris. It wasn't hard to find and there was no line. It tasted like any other pizza (for me) and was nothing special. But it was not bad either. It is not a place I would go back...to.More
After reading reviews my husband and I decided to check it out. We had it as a take out as not an ideal place to eat; tiny. After placing our order a pre-made and pre-cooked pizza was brought out from under the counter alarm bells...should of starting ring ... I expected a fresh hand made pizza. The worse pizza I have ever in my life EVER eaten!!! Warmed up rubbery, bland and disgusting! I don’t like to write bad reviews but seriously I’m not sure why people rate this pizza. This is far from good quality. I would avoid this place at all costs! When pizza is done right is so quick and easy. My question is why reheat a pre cook pizza??More
First rate customer service. Intimate and cozy. Nick’s warmth and generosity alone are worth the visit. Will be back!
