Cool spot to hang around with friends and a glass of wine. Small food stuff available too. Crowded, you’re likely to stand, inside or on the sidewalk, until a tiny spot at the bar opens up. Reasonable prices and lovely atmosphere.

we came here for a continuation for my friends birthday. I think we were there for hours, I even left to take a nap and came back and my friends were still sitting there with two bottles of champagne. The red wine was okay, but...the champagne was better. A nice local wine bar.More

A very charming, lively bar with great wine selection - a French friend brought me here initially, and I've been back a number of times alone and with friends. Tiny and quite crowded, it can be a bit intimidating if you're solo and don't have...strong French, but being humble and patient goes a long way, and I've always had good experiences here.More

Learning your french to get any type of service here would be essential. The staff pretty much ignore you and we were not impressed to not have any information on the wine, a little more passion for the wine culture would go very far, we...would like to know what we are buying! He also resold a bottle of wine a another couple left behind - cheeky. On the other hand, after getting over the attitude of the staff, the small plates were very tasty, wine very natural and interesting to try, local and buzzy vibe. Learn your french and don’t expect good service and you will have a good short time there, don’t spend too long.More

This should be an absolute must visit for anyone wanting a great wine experience in Paris. They have excellent great-value wines and the servers know how to help you find something you will like. The food is also really great for snacking. I highly recommend...getting a drink here before trying one of the many great places to eat around.More

Decent wine selection but what’s the point if the servers ignore you. Dreadlock fellow only served French speakers then ignored English speakers while he got drunk claiming the French groups were “here first” then continued to ignore us. Wish I could have tried more of...their wines but apparently they don’t treat English speakers as equal humans. They may have the wine but they don’t understand the spirit of natural wine culture. Only go if you speak French. They don’t want you there if you don’t.More

Oh man, I don’t understand how the septum franchise isn’t more widely recognised as one of Paris’s must visits. This cosy wine cave has the three musts of any night to remember- great staff (shout out to Derrick), a ludicrously broad and qualitative wine list...and bar snacks alongside a great atmosphere. I’d say get there early as it is tight in there but it just creates a better ambience. Derrick helped us through a variety of wines and certainly fulfilled my dreams of a natural French rouge. So helpful even though the place was packed and just a cool dude.More

We were advised on what wine to get because we were looking into orange wine. What they suggested was absolutely spot on. Staff speaks English fully which helped a good bit. The food was simple and gorgeous. Menu probably changes often but I highly recommend...the jambon de boeuf. The place is tiny and extremely popular so be careful of the time of the day you go unless you're ok with standing, the wines are worthwile.More

La Cave de Septime is quite small, and we were lucky to sit at the counter. The staff has carefully selected wines from small producers. They are displayed around the room with price tags hanging from each bottle. The attractive letter press labels on the...bottles add to the charm! Two friendly staff took orders, poured wine, and prepared simple and delicious snacks. This is a fun and special wine bar.More

If I’d have blinked (and not had my handy google maps) I would have missed this adorable space. It’s small but cozy and very popular. I popped in for a quick drink before a nearby dinner reservation. I asked the friendly bartender to pour me...a glass of something he’d like to drink and I got a unique natural red wine, it was almost fizzy. The space was warm and inviting. I highly recommend a stop if you’re in the area.More

This wine bar is unassuming but fits in perfectly with the notion of a favorite hangout. It's well worn but familiar with limited but great tapas style food options to go with those glasses of wines you order. I went when it opened at 4pm...for a quick stopover so it wasn't crowded yet. The service is friendly, unobtrusive and helpful. The kind of place you'll find yourself going back to again and again.More

We stumbled across this place while walking around. It’s in a great location. Gets pretty busy inside at night. The 2 girls working there are so friendly. They had great wine recommendations. Snacks are also great. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a...wine bar out of the touristy area.More
