Spotted this restaurant walking around the 9th and was lucky to get a table - as it was full. The lamb skewers were sublime, tender - melt in the mouth- and perfectly spiced, just the right amount of heat. The home made noodles and slow...cooked chicken in a five spice and juniper pepper sauce was stunning. Great value and highly recommended.More
Interesting seasoning and flavor (because I have never eaten at an Ouighour restaurant before). We enjoyed the food very much, especially their pasta dishes and Polo rice. The pricing is reasonable and the service is good. That being said, not the most sophisticated cuisine either.
First of all, this place if very well known among Chinese Tourists, because the food quality is very very high and the dishes are really original. I totally recommend "western" tourists to come here also if you want to try a very different Chinese restaurant....The lamb skewer is sublime and the "xinjiang Chicken" is also recommendable!! the Chef also cares about individual wishes, you can add extra noodle, which are hand made (sooo amazing), or reduce the big dishes. Again, this place is offering really original dishes, you may not find "european" chinese food, but the dishes will exceed your expectation!!More
This will bring back memories to anyone who frequented Uighur food in in Xinjiang or living in the north of China as a break from the monotony of eastern Chinese cuisines. The selection is not what you would get there, but the few things they...offer are authentic, home-made, appropriately spiced, and reasonably priced. The lamb, most importantly, which is really the key ingredient in this cuisine, was delicious. I'm so happy that this place exists, and I plan to go back many a time.More
I've been this restaurant with my family, we have experienced great moments there, all food including uyghur noodles, chicken dishes, kebab are really tasty. The person whom interested in rich Uyghurs food cultures, this place is highly recommend;)
Small restaurant run by an Uighur family cooking wonderful authentic food from Central Asia. We had kebabs and noodles. Other guests had "da pan ji" (literally translated as "big plate of chicken" but infinitely more amazing than the literal translation suggests - chicken smothered in...a thick sauce made of vegetables and spices), and it looked and smelled amazing!More
I booked through booking.com. I stayed here for two nights at the end of Feb 2016. The interior design of the hotel is very cool, artistic and boutique-like. It must be a very old building, however, as the rooms, hallways and areas are very small...and narrow.. I will never come back.More
