The location is just great. Very easy to find in a side street of the famous Champs des Elysees. The restaurant is rather small, but comfortable and nicely decorated. We arrived at 19.00, the hour of opening which was clearly to early. It was rather calm (for a Saturday evening). We were the only guest until about 19.45, when more... More

We absolutely loved loved super loved this restaurant. From the moment we walked in we were greeting by a nice girl that didn't speak much English but made a great effort to understand us. That is rare in Paris! She was super nice and helpful. We ordered tacos, guacamole, and a few other dishes; they even offered great alternatives for... More

I had dinner there with a few friends and the owner were nice enough to fix us an incredible medley of their dishes because we wanted to try a bit of everything ! The atmosphere is great, I believe the place has just undergone a complete make-over I JUST LOVE THE DESIGN. We decided to try out their selection of... More

We happened to walk by this restaurant a few nights ago, took a look at the menu outside, found it promising, and decided to give it a try. I am a big fan of tex-mex so I was excited to try a new restaurant. It was 9:30PM on a week night and the restaurant was only 1/3 full. The waitress... More

Absolutely love El Mercado. It's authentic taste is a nice change in the Parisian atmosphere! Food was fabulous and I had everything! Drinks were fantastic. Service was great and handsome too! A must stop after a day of exploring and shopping. Relax and have some tequila and a little spice too. Bon appetite

Me and my boyfriend were craving Mexican food and this place was very close to our hotel and had great reviews. When we arrived we loved the atmosphere and it was very crowded so I thought it was a great place. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend ordered a beef burrito. Sidenote, I'm from the states and my... More

Hello VanessaPerez, We find your review misleading! Seeing that you very much enjoyed the ambiance and that your boyfriend loved our signature Mercado Beef Burrito, your low rating is not justifiable. But we think you didn't get the memo regarding our concept, in which we happy to share this information with you. El Mercado is a French and Mexican fusion... More

Two dishes, two beers and mineral water for €24 just off the Champs Élysée - not bad at all. Service was quick and friendly too!

Me and my girlfriend were more than happy to stumble upon El Mercado during our visit to Paris. Situated next to the busy Champs Elysees you'd maybe expect an overpriced touristic venue where you'd have to shout to each other to get over the loudest boulevard in Paris. But this stylishly, modern decorated restaurant beat all those expectations! First off... More

Salim, Where do we begin? A week before the burrito incident you ordered a salad and attempted to negotiate the price on the menu with our server. When the server stuck to the price printed on the menu you left very upset as if she did something offensive. Normally, when prices of food are printed on restaurant menus, that means... More

I went there with my gf, restaurant was surprisingly empty. We had a burrito, and the chocobanana quesadilla for dessert, both were really good, and nicely presented, and for a pretty good price (~20€ per person without drinks). I recommend this place, had a nice time, good service and excellent food.
