My experience today at la durée was extremely disappointing. When i was first assigned a seat, no one even bothered to take my order for at least 15 mins knowing that i asked several waiters to help me. I then got a brunch from the...menu, that got really messed up with : instead of the 2 croissants they only got me one, they got me pain perdu (that comes with ice cream) before my egg benedict that arrived later on 15 mins late, i asked for water that I didn’t even get. I also had to practically beg for forks, spoons, and plates. Even the macarons that come with it didnt even show up until i had to talk to the manager about how bad the service was. Shame.More

Located directly at les champs elysees . Authentic French place. We wait around 15 minutes to enter. Inside decoration is remarkable and beautiful. The sweets and the macarons delicious. The waiters so polite and professional and the service was good and organized.the prices are on...the high range. We paid around 20 eur per person. I recommend. Top: frequently you should wait around 15 to 20 minutes to seat... so keep in mind when you visit this placeMore

I recently visited the Louvre with a group of teens. Afterward in the shopping area I wanted to buy some macarons and our tour guide directed me to Laduree as the best. The Macarons were incredible and the pistachio ball, that was also recommended, was...just phenomenal. Melt in your mouth goodness with true to their name flavors. Now I'm back home in the states planning an order from Laduree to get back that perfect taste of France!More

Bad service, poor meal. The poached eggs were hard in the middle and the service took ages. Slow and careless. All the waiters looked like they were distracted.

The line was so long outside I decided to check it out. Dessert was okay. Very pricey. A lot of desserts in the menu.

Cookies for dinner! Or tea time. Walking down the Champs Elysees we knew we wanted to try Laduree's macrons. It had been a long day of walking (and the Arc steps) so we decided to wait and eat sitting down. There was a line but...it passed quickly and the people watching was amazing. We were seated in a beautiful rooms with lots of well dress wait staff. This is the only place where our waiter wasn't friendly. But he was efficient with his job so it was fine. We paid a ton for two teas, four macrons and the famous Ispahan, but we were also paying for the environment, and place to sit on the most famous street in the world. We sat next to another mom and daughter and had a great time chat with them. Know what you are going in for and paying and enjoy the treat.More

Went for breakfast at Champs Elysee. Ordered 2 breakfasts and 1 bowl fresh fruit (which did not arrive). The bill came and they had added 1€ for small cold milk for our tea and 2.6€ for 2 teaspoons of jam (which we asked for with...our croissants). Neither seemed unreasonable requests! I queried these addition charges and also a 15% “dont service compris” to be informed by the manager or senior person that this was normal for Laduree and in France and the rest of the world (apart from UK) it is normal to charge extra for milk for tea! That’s was my first time in over 40 yrs of travelling the globe. The manager also tried to explain the service compris was a local sales tax which it clearly isn’t! Overall extremely poor, the cafe is certainly beautiful however pricing is poor. The manager said that 1600 per day pay €1 extra to have milk with their tea!!! Typical tourists. To be honest would be better for them to increase price of tea and croissant to include for milk and jam. And that way I would never have queried. As I said AVOID and visit a traditional French cafe.More

We decided to visit for brunch as the place is a beautiful spot on the Champs Elysees. The décor is lovely and ideal for a holiday photo - But that's just about it. I'm not going to target the prices because we're on the champs...and I knew what I went in for. The place was extremely busy, with an army of uniformed waiters who looked like that they might run the restaurant very efficiently. To my dismay, 15 mins passed before we actually placed our order, 10 mins to get our 'capuccinos' (no thick froth), and 35 more mins to get a pistachio hazelnut croissant and another 10 mins for our eggs benedict. The natural water never made it to our table. The waiters are as hard to 'hail' as a taxi in NYC. They were ignoring our signals. I expected to get my capuccinos with the croissant, at least. It's either the chefs were very slow or there was no sync between waiting staff and kitchen. I'm a seasoned traveller and very rarely get to write bad reviews, but I couldn't hold back on this. We just stood up (so they can see us) and ordered the bill. We pointed out that the water we ordered will not be paid, of course. I actually thanked the waitress/people greeter at the door with a genuine smile as it was not her fault.More

Ok pastries - I have to agree with the previous reviewer who said the Mille-feuille wasn’t great, I’ve had nicer in France. It was dry and wasn’t to my taste. My partner enjoyed his apricot pastry though so I wouldn’t be put off completely. Coffee...was nice, the cappuccino foam art was cute. Staff were all lovely, except one who seemed in a bad mood (huffing and slamming our cutlery down) and thankfully disappeared after serving our food (perhaps he was having a bad day, we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt). We popped next door for a box of macarons as a gift for family, they were beautifully packed and made a gorgeous gift. If we’d had longer we would love to try lunch/dinner as I had really wanted to do this during our time in Paris but we ran out of time. We hope to visit again soon to put the rest of the menu to the test ;)More

Very nice setting. Service was pretty good also. However, the Quality of pastries was very disappointing. The millefeuille I had was probably the worst I had in my life. For the price at least this was unacceptable. The macaroons were ok. This is a place...allegedly famous for its pastries. 3 out 5 might be a bit lenient.More

Following what had been the perfect day in Paris with my partner, we decided to queue for Laduree in the hopes of some exquisite French patisserie. We were left to queue for well over an hour with no communication regarding how long this may take...which we were willing to bypass however, upon ordering the waiter was extremely rude despite our efforts to speak French and did not bring us our full order. The macaroons and patisseries themself were okay at best (although I will give them credit for their mojitos!). Following the conclusion of our meal, I paid and was ready to leave when I was informed this had not gone through and I needed to pay again. The waiter and manager (Mr. Chardin) refused to believe the money had been taken from my account and pestered me to provide proof which I did and even then they informed me there was nothing they could do and I needed to pay again. I did not feel comfortable to dispute this due to the manner in which the staff treated me and therefore paid again however as I first thought, I have been charged twice. Would avoid going here at all costs as the food is overpriced, the service is horrendous and they might just ruin your day in beautiful Paris!More
