The team at Saine Ouverte are amazing, both friendly and professional and delivering the highest standard of food, service and entertainment. The food is tasty with delicious plat du jour. This venue offers something for everyone, from a quick lunchtime bite to a leisurely evening meal with live music entertainment. There are French boules in the courtyard and billiards and darts indoors, with karaoke on occasional nights during the week. Saine Ouverte feels almost like a social club, family owned and run, it delivers on every level. Highly recommend a visit.

Excellent place for brunch. Affable, friendly staff. The dishes are well prepared, both savory and sweet. The Apégo catering restaurant is located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, rue des Saints-Pères. On Sundays, the restaurant is very lively and offers an ultra fresh range of products in the form of a savory and sweet buffet.
At their house, brunch is a true institution. Everything is made on site, with super good Poilane bread and aligned with good values: an ecological and well-prepared brunch.
In short, beautiful, good and a great welcome. To recommend !

I visited this place for brunch with one other adult and my daughter. Us two adults ordered scrumbled egges and an omelete and my daughter ordered the brunch menu for €19. We were told the menu could not be shared and it was open bufé meaning she could take anything she liked. As I try to taste one of the cookies that my daughter no longer wanted, the owner comes to our table and said we could not have anything from my daughter's plate. I explained that I was already full but I wanted to try how the cookie tasted as my daughter said it was not good and it looked yummy to me. She very rudely added that she had been watching her take pancakes twice and 6 macaroona. She added my daughter coule not take so much and I told her you said it's an open bufé and one can take as many as she likes as long as it's paid. She continued insisting and refused to leave us alone in the table. It was trylu humiliating and by far the worst experience in Paris. Never had this rude behaviour in any place in the world! I would totally NOT recommend going to this place unless you want your whole day ruined with your own money! A disgraceful owner!
Note * the food was ok and there is a British waitress who was brilliant and very welcoming!

To escape. The bread is not fresh on the hygiene side it is lamentable, it is a pure scam for the price paid. The waiters behind the stand hold the toast with their hands, the omelet with cheese is only a small piece of cheese adds. It gives the impression that it’s food for lack of vegetables left over from the previous day’s market and bread from the day before. Go somewhere else.

Too little choice for €45!
The formula is half buffet, the savory being served by the staff.
I like the buffet formula to take very small quantities and taste a little of everything and eventually go back to what I like the most.
However, I was served too large portions of things with special tastes. I was ashamed of the waste of what I left behind because I didn't like it.
Frankly, it's better to have a buffet where you make your own flavor mixes, rather than weird toasts and quiches already prepared.
There isn't even any cold meats.
Disappointed.

What a brunch! We feasted! There were many excellent quality products! They work with 90 small organic producers in the sector and therefore respect the environment! There's something for everyone: salty, sweet, fruit, vegetables, cheese, pastries for the naughty, freshly made eggs! There is something for everyone, vegetarians and non-vegetarians! Beautiful discovery and especially very good address for brunch lovers.

This place si overrated, 45 euros for a brunch which basically is a self-service with a few sandwiches, eggs, trout, ham, salads and a few sweet deserts like pancakes and chia yoghurt. Just one juice and coffee not even a glass of champagne is included. I won’t recommend and won’t come back as I felt ripped off.

This little cafe saved our life - or more accurately the fantastically kind man working there did! My elderly mother and I were caught out by the phenomenal heat last week when temperatures rose above 40 degrees. Unable to find a taxi anywhere, we ducked inside this cafe where we found a wonderful selection of cold drinks and a quiet, calm table - the perfect spot to recover. The man who worked there proceeded to spend the next 40 minutes (beyond his normal closing time) phoning every possible taxi company to try to help us get back to our hotel - and eventually he went out onto the street and managed to hail us a cab! When I tried to offer him some money as a thank you, he refused to take it. I can't tell you how relieved we were - and hope that everyone who reads this will take a detour to pop in and support this lovely cafe and the unsung hero who works there!
