After two nights eating delicious French cuisine we felt we wanted to branch out and discover this truly amazing Russian/Kazakh restaurant tucked away at the end of the Rue Du Commerce. The food was home-cocked ,totally delicious and so different from "normal" French / Parisian...food. And as an added bonus the wine we had from Georgian was truly magnificent and so rare.More

The restaurant offers a good selection of signature Russian dishes. They are good as they are prepared by cooks from former USSR

Restaurant fills up mega quickly at lunchtime. They do not take reservations as it is so popular that there is a queue. Food was delicious: duck breasts pink but with crispy skins; cod fresh flaky & with imaginative accompaniment of butternut squash. Desserts were beautifully...presented & the portions were a good size so we could try the chocolate mousse, amazing almond & chocolate slice & tart. The shared platters of prawns & tiny calamari with the sauces were a lovely introduction. Service was efficient, smiling and well paced. This was recommended to us & I fully agree with it.More

I was very excited to discover that there's a Kazakh restaurant in Paris as I am from Kazakhstan. For my birthday, I invited my friends (we were about 8), three of them are vegetarians. Firstly, the food was below average. I was disappointed in mantys...(one of my favorites from home) as the dough around the meat was too glutinous and the meat was tasteless covered in spices, which were not at all traditional. Plus, the mantys were made without any pumpkin (usually in KZ, the meat is mixed a bit with pumpkin). Furthermore, all portions were very very small. Secondly, the service was atrocious. The waiter glared at those in the party who said they were vegetarian and would like to order only an appetizer. He tried to push them to order a meat dish and when they refused, he had a very offended look. He then mostly ignored us. He did not bring us water (only refilled once very tiny glasses upon request) and he kept going outside to smoke about every 3-4 minutes. Even the bread basket was meagre with only three or four thinly sliced breads, and of course, it was never refilled throughout the whole evening. Clearly four slices of bread for a party of 8 was not enough, especially considering the tiny portions of the very badly prepared food. Lastly, to top everything off, the waiter overcharged us 8€ and then refused to give them back when we did the math until I asked him to redo the math in front of me. Only then did he say "oh ok, here". There was absolutely no apology but there was a defensive attitude as if to say "how dare you disgrace me by claiming I am overcharging you," which is clearly was! This made me wonder if he did it on purpose or not, his recalcitrant attitude to recalculate makes me suspect the former. Altogether this was an awful and a shameful experience. I am disappointed that this is the only restaurant in Paris that advertises itself to serve Kazakh food. Our culture is very hospitable and the food is delicious and both of those aspects were not at all present at this restaurant during our visit. It's WAY overpriced even if the food would have been good. The food was awful and the service was even worse. I discourage anyone from coming anywhere near this place. Honestly, I think all these other positive reviews are fake because if this waiter has been working there the whole time and the kitchen staff too, there's no way to give this restaurant any review above one star. If I could give this place a 0 or a negative score, I would.More

We sent back the first plate cause there was a bit of paper left over (from frozen plate). the small meat pieces in the borsch were full of fat parties...not eatable or with a couple of times small bones. Need to select the right meat...before putting it into the soup. Ok for the offered chocolate dessert...but for those errors like paper left...sorry in my opinion the total meal should be free. Anyway, its too expensive this place for what they offer.More

Very nice place to have good food after a long walk in Paris. Chez Mademoiselle offers Central Asian style hand made dumplings with fresh meat and vegetables, Russian salads and fantastic cakes for desert. The beer Baltika was very tasty.

In a very nice setting, the restaurant serves Russian specialties and Kazakhstan. A menu perfectly suited to cook fresh products: Choice of 5 starters and 5 main courses. Menus at very affordable prices (the most expensive at 42$). We were a table of 6, and...we had a beautiful evening. A lot of fun, a very nice service, a lot of vodka too ! At the end of the day, with drinks, alcool, coffee, the final bill was 55$ per person all inclusive. Not really expensive for such a good food and very nice evening. I really recommand this place.More

This restaurant we came across on a Sunday evening. The menu looked interesting. It was about 8pm and we were the only customers. The waitress was very friendly. We had 2 courses and a bottle of wine. There were 4 of us. The food was...bland , I had beef stroganoff, nothing special , dessert was some sort of layered cake, very dry. I like a dessert to look wicked this definitely had no wickedness about it. The wine was drinkable. Our bill came to 200 euro. I would not recommend this restaurant.More

A group of four of us visitied this mid evening and we should have known there was something not right as we were the only people in the place. Very expensive for what was on offer and such a limited menu we all struggled to...find something we wanted, very limited choice of desserts and poor beer and wine selection - although the vodka was great. In Paris there so much more of a selection that we were disappointed the food wasn't as different and special as the decor suggested. The owner and staff were however very pleasant.More
