Each exquisite chocolate is displayed like jewelry in a case. The caramels are so buttery and rich; definitely a treat.

Henri Le Roux’s original caramels are incredible. His chocolates are also delicious. But I do not recommend his flavored caramels. Some of his flavored caramels are ordinary and others are totally weird.

We were unaware of the history of chocolate in the Saint-Germain de Pres neighborhood and how seriously they take it until we visited Henri Le Roux. Imagine going into a high end jewelry story except it is chocolate under the glass not diamonds and you...have a good sense of the experience at Henr Le Roux. We were met by a very friendly and professional young lady who described the various chocolates and pointed us to a few items that peeked our interest. They're famous for salted butter caramels and they did not disappoint. They, Were. Delicious. We loved the chocolate bars as well.. As we got into the individual pieces of chocolate in the assortment box our satisfaction lessened. The flavors were unique, but not always in line with our tastes. The quality and service are exceptional so you might expect the price to be high. Annnnnd .... you'd be right. It's pricey for sure, but worth the indulgence and the experience.More

Was wandering around Paris and found this wonderful store. The young lady helping us was very knowledgeable about the selection of chocolate and ingredients.. We sampled several different chocolates and purchased multiple boxes to take home as gifts.

Sure, you can search out Henri Le Roux as a single destination but I would recommend taking a "walking chocolate tour" that includes this as a destination. That way you get to indulge your sweet tooth for all things caramel and chocolate, with lots of...variety, and the chance to buy a hot chocolate on the way or some "real" food if the chocolates start overwhelming your senses. Visit this place - like many chocolatiers and patisseries in Paris it is worth the visit and it is guaranteed to be less crowded than The Louvre or the Eiffel Tower.More

We were on a chocolate tour of the St. Germain area, when we stopped here. It is true that we were a little jaundiced at that part of the tour. However, when we tasted their wares, we had to return. Which we did.

Henri Le Roux should be on everyone’s list of places to visit and revisit several times. It was on my list of chocolatiers to visit during my previous visit to Paris four years ago and in January of this year. The bars of chocolate are...superb. I particularly like the lait intense. Les caramels are perfection and come in assorted flavors. I like the fruit ones like raspberry and passion fruit. As my hotel was nearby I went there four times to buy bars and caramels and also savored a few during my holiday. This is a place to seek out and enjoy!More

Fabulous chocolate covered orange peels. Just the right amount of chocolate and the right amount of orange. Not too sweet, not too thick or too thin. They were so good that I kept eating another one and ate a whole clear round 'box' full in...one evening - aaaackck!More

We tried a number of the up scale chocolatiers in Paris, and Henri Le Roux rated number one. The chocolates are wonderful, the salted caramel toffees are even better. And the other flavored toffees are not bad, either.
