It´s not only the beauty and smell and taste of the cheeses and how they are presented, it´s also the charm of the owners Morgane and Matthieu who care for details and SMILE (this is very rare in Paris!) when you ask for details. Go for the Sunday only brunch , but any day you can blend cheess and wine... More

Fantastic French cheese tasting! We've tasted about 15 different type of cheese! The contest is friendly, it is a cheese shop with only few tables where you can "amuse your buche" with cheese and not only!

One of many specialist Cheese places in Paris but this one is worth a serious detour for. Huge range of cheese to buy but more importantly to enjoy as a meal in the small restaurant at the back. We booked in advance which was a good idea and enjoyed a wonderful 15 cheese platter presented in an advisory "order" of... More

Focusing on cheese, this small restaurant attached to a cheese shop, executes a basic concept well. The cheeses selected for tasting were all first rate. Breads of several types, a good house wine, and well selected jam rounded out my meal. I was treated very courteously.

My wife and I went here for brunch. We called before going and they had an opening. The female did not seem that friendly. The male was very receptive and kind. No menus at brunch. What is on the board is what you are getting. We were not disappointed, it started off with a small cheese plate with bread. Then... More

We had a lovely dinner, cheeses were delicious, well served. I only could say that it was too much food for my husband and me and the person that attended us didn't suggest us properly as I would normally expect. The fact that we didn't order properly of course made our bill quite high for the type of restaurant. Wines... More

This is a small operation, run by two people. That said, they were wonderful and charming, and the experience was fantastic. We ate here our first night in Paris, and I can't imagine a better way to experience France than a nice bottle of Bourgogne wine and a large selection of cheeses.

My wife and I went there based on the good reviews on Tripadvisor. The restaurant is very small, maybe 7-8 tables. The entrance is actually a cheese shop. We had no reservation, but they where kind enough to give us a chance for a table if we could finish the meal within an hour and 15 minutes. We ordered a... More

Description
A nice cheese shop with more than 90 references, grocer's products and obviously a nice selection of wines. A tasting area where you can enjoy homemade tarts, "tartines" and cheese plates with a glass of wine. Here the most important are products which are selected with great attention by two young passionate.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
