I popped in around 6pm for a light meal and a wine. There wasn't much on the menu and the fellow who showed me to my table was charming. The thinner older man who served at the bar seemed to be the owner, he had...More

My pregnant daughter and I went for dinnner here on our first night in Paris. We were staying at an apt on the Ile St Louis and this restaurant was just down the street. We both had the beef and it was tender and delicious....More

I was greeted with a distant 'bonjour' from the bar. The waitress then approached me and stared in silence! I asked for a table for one. I had to squeeze in between the tables to sit down .. too many tables guys. I was handed...More

After visit the Notre Dame Cathedral at the end of the day, we stopped to snack something at the brasserie. But none that we asked was good: the hot chocolate, which had almost no chocolate; the croque monsieur was just ok (the cheese was good,...More

Had ice cream and coffees here. The ice cream is delicious, coffee reasonable. They have a €15 minimum for card usage, which seems very high, and no signage saying so, so had to go out to an ATM.

We wanted something simple and light for lunch in a non touristy setting. This little brasserie du quarter is a delightful local cafe/restaurant. The rabbit casserole looked excellent but omelettes were what we wanted after a lot of rich food. Excellent omelette, fries and salad...More

We kept things simple, with a burger, croques monsieur, and a lovely croque norvegien. By the standards of this area, it was mid-price. The food was good, service friendly and attentive.

I stopped into Le Louis today for some lunch, and was highly disappointed. The waitress was friendly enough, but completely unattentive. The male staff members were extremely unfriendly, and also had zero interest in the diners. My omelette was severely overcooked, but the fries were...More

We had two lunches here and both were excellent. Locals use this restaurant and it is always pretty full at lunchtimes. The food is prepared on the premises and is really tasty.

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
