The food was average, atmosphere was OK until they started to open the floor and getting a big rubbish bin out from under the floor as people were eating. The worst was that we were presented with an expensive bill and I specifically asked the waiter if Service Charge was included, he said No, not included and I even doublecked with him, so after he confirmed that it was not included, I left a 20eur tip. Only after we got home and I examined the bill closely I saw it was stated on the bill in French that service is included. The server's dishonesty left a sour feeling for me.

We recently left this restaurant and were unpleasantly surprised when asked to tip on a split check. The waiter added 1.20 times 20 percent to each person’s bill, essentially requesting an extra 30 euros. He didn’t provide service worthy of a 20 percent tip, often ignoring us or needing reminders. He ended up pocketing nearly 130 euros from us. Adding to our disappointment, the food quality was subpar, with what was supposed to be French onion soup tasting like broth and calamari that seemed to include pig anus. We left feeling dissatisfied with both the service and the prices.

Not far from Eiffel Tower. Nice people. Good food, expensive as all Paris, compared to the quality we got. The pizza was good for being served out of Italy (we are Italians, high standards). Firmine benefits from a great location just 10 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower, making it a convenient stop for tourists. The staff at the entrance are welcoming, and the manager/front of house is polite and professional. However, the dining experience itself leaves much to be desired.
Service was noticeably poor, with our waitress making multiple mistakes, drinks were forgotten or incorrect, and food items were missing until we reminded her (twice). Even when the missing food finally arrived, it was almost too late to enjoy.
The food itself was hit-or-miss. While the pizza had plenty of cheese and a decent flavor, it was undercooked and excessively floppy, making it difficult to eat. Instead of a proper slice, it quickly turned into a mess of abandoned cheese on the plate.
For what was ordered, five soft drinks, two mains, and a starter, the €130 bill felt steep, especially given the subpar service and underwhelming food. Had the service been more attentive and the food properly cooked, the experience might have been much better. Unfortunately, as it stands, Firmine is not a place I’d rush back to.

After visiting the Eiffel Tower, we were looking for a quiet restaurant that was not a tourist factory. Chance led us to this restaurant, the welcome was excellent with a waiter who did not hesitate to be humorous, and who provided good advice, nothing to complain about the dishes ordered: good food, precisely measured and affordable, the ice creams excellent

It was tricky for us to find a resturant in this area. We were actually seated in one down the road that we got up and left when we saw some of the food being served.
This was a perfect find, they gave us a nice table for 5 people (you including 2 kids 12 and 15) and were very patient as we took ages to order. However they quickly served the beer I needed to recover from travelling.
Once we ordered the food was served incredibly quickly. The pizza I had was the style I like, with toppings added after cooking. My wife had the carpaccio which she described as “yummy”, kids had the Italian style steak and the ragu. The steak was quite a small cut but cooked well and the ragu had the depth of flavour I hoped for. Chips were served with three dishes which were crispy and tasty.
The drinks were quite expensive, at €12 for a 500ml IPA and €14 for 250ml wine. But we were happy to pay this considering the meal.
We aren’t restaurant reviewers by any means, but for us this meal was great, we are going to go back before we leave :)

Avoid at all costs. This is a tourist trap.
We went during the Olympics. It was easily our worst meal by far. Horrendous quality food / ridiculously expensive prices ( which we don’t mind if food is good ) and unbelievably bad service. After being ripped off we were literally hounded to pay the bill when we said no to desserts. We learnt our lesson after this and had great meals the rest of the trip.

Tourist trap. Avoid this place.
Food is average quality, not even remotely reaches the level of any Italian restaurant.
And waiters are simply unfriendly.
I asked if they had children’s portions for my toddlers. They answered that they don’t have anything for children in the menu and I had to order adult portions, which of course they didn’t finish. What a waste of food…
I will not come back for sure. Pretty facade but low quality inside in general.

Terrible place! We were there during the Paris Olympics on Saturday 8/3. The food was not good at all, and very expensive. My wife had 2 iced teas (plain ice tea, non-alcholic) for which they charged us $27 Euros. The pasta with truffles did not taste good at all, tasted like something was not done right. The Italian burger was overcooked, and the bread was not fresh. The bathrooms were dirty, with small flies all around and were not clean. At the end of the night, they asked for a tip, which we gave them, but also vowing never to return. This is a tourist trap all around, avoid and go somewhere else.

We were looking for a place to eat pasta as a family. We saw the restaurant and liked it and stop for dinner we ordered two cokes our surprise was.. 9.50€ of crazy and on top of that stuffed with a 1.5L bottle! The garnish we ordered was chips for the girl and cost us more than buying a sack of potatoes. The most expensive beer ever lol pasta nothing to envy anywhere else for the price.. but the water 6€ is better to hold on to the tap !!! We will never return again and recommend it less 😞 it is a shame that this business is taken advantage of in this way.

As a table of 8 we were seated quickly - food was delicious but not extraordinary for the price. When paying we were asked to pay an extra tip despite 15% service included ! As were were chatting at the end of the meal they reset the table for the next patrons … hmmm …

Very bad place... bad service, we waited a long time for us to be served, even though there were only a few tables and we were still eating, they took our drinks away. Bad service. High prices for the service they have. My son ordered Coca Cola, 10.50 E. Two pizzas and a Coca Cola and orange juice -64.50 E.

After reviewing the menus outside we decided to go in for lunch, but as soon as they handed us the menus we realised that the prices were much higher than the ones we had seen outside. We realised as we noticed the (very rude) waitress carefully choosing what menus to hand us. When asked about the increased prices, she explained that those were morning prices (who has pizza at 8am?). Needless to say, we left immediately. Avoid at all costs

Situated just a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, Firmine is excellently positioned in Central Paris. My wife and I visited here for a spot of afternoon lunch, however, we were disappointed in both the service and quality of food. We ordered two pasta dishes (ravioli and four cheese), which took over 40 minutes to arrive. The two pasta dishes had no flavour, so plenty of salt and pepper had to be added to mitigate this. The waiting staff, although friendly, seemed to be completely overwhelmed, which caused long delays and left several customers feeling frustrated. Aside from the location, I would not recommend this establishment.

We decided on Fermine after looking at the menus of a few restaurants in the area. We chose the right one! The waiter was amazing - he took our orders without pen and paper and remembered our specific requests and variations for food and drinks perfectly. An excellent effort considering there were 5 of us, each wanting some sort of variation to the menu. Fun atmosphere, prompt and friendly service, and great food! Everyone enjoyed their lunch, which was pleasantly surprising as we have a fussy family. We would highly recommend Fermine.
