A bit touristy but it was my first stop in Paris. Loved the view, the ambiance as well as the food. They really tried to make me feel comfortable in English but I can speak French

Turned up as a solo diner and they sorted a table quick. Food selection is enough that there is something's for everyone. Happy to come back.

We stopped here for lunch when we arrived in Paris, A sidewalk table with a pleasant view. Basic lunch croque madame, escargot, and a bottle of wine. The service was very good. But of course not friendly.

We are here for dinner based in the review score, not realizing that the majority of the positive reviews were from breakfast. I ordered the scallops with risotto, and when our dinner arrived 3 minutes later (like all of them had just been sitting around,...More

Extremely bad service. Rude waiters who did the impossible to ignore us. And when they saw we were leaving after waiting a considerable amount of time just to order breakfast, they didn't do anything.

this was our first meal in Paris. Yes it was expensive & tourists are treated rudely, the service is extremely slow. To be fair, pretty much all restaurants had slow service and (with very few exceptions) were all rude. The food was good, nothing bad...More

We weren't very impressed here and our visit got off to a bad start - it's always a bad sign when a French person (sat next to us) has to speak English to the staff in a French restaurant in the heart of Paris, in...More

Yes, it's a bit expensive: It's on a corner overlooking one of the most beautiful places in the world! The menu is extensive, so if you can't find something you like, that's on you. I'm a vegetarian and I ate fine here 3x (various times)...More

Waiters were too busy to serve non-locals - we waited a long time to be served - the coffee was ordinary and the croissants came in a bowl and were tasteless. We were expected to eat the croissants with our fingers until I asked for...More

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

They don't take reservations. So, no. But, the wait usually isn't very long.
