The outside tables Chez Mamy were full as we took our reserved table for 2. It seemed that everyone showed up at about the same time. There was one waitress for about 25 or so diners. The service was excellent noteless with an occasional apology...for the wait. We especially appreciated the energy and positive attitude of the serveuse. Our meal was also excellent with starters of oysters and razor clams and a coupe de champagne. Followed by a nice cut of iberian pork and a brandade of cabillaud and salmon. A cheese course ended our meal. Nice wines were available by the glass.More

Le meilleur restaurant de Paris tout simplement. My partner and I would visit thi restaurant all the time, either the two of us or when we have friends over that want to discover the french cuisine. Beautiful traditional dishes and wines. Highly recommending

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel. We were a group of 22 American tourists. Most of my friends did not know any French. They kept asking for translations of the menu. I had French classes in junior high and high school four decades ago....I remembered key words and phrases. I believe that it helped facilitate a frustrated staff. Please do not expect the menu to be in English. Address the server in French as "Sir" and not as "Boy". The meal was delicious. I enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it.More

We had beef and monk fish and it did not disappoint! I would definitely recommend this place. There is no English menu, so you know this place has to be good! The host will walk you through the menu of the day and all the...food is bound to be fresh. It's a small neighborhood joint, so it's not fancy, but this is how I like it. If I am in the area again - will definitely visit them.More

Excellent place for a couple dinner. Book the corner of the bar for a great night. The owner is very French but you will enjoy his humour and hospitality!

We chose to eat here because we wanted at least 1 traditional French meal. It took a while to prepare, but was worth the wait. Our first experience of eating frogs legs, followed by a duck and a monkfish main course. It's a tiny bistro,...but the food here is a million miles better than any of the larger restaurants in the tourist trap that is central Paris.More

We stopped in because we loved the atmosphere and were seated immediately. Our first course of appetizers and wine was served quickly. Highly recommend the foie gras- silky smooth and rich - just like it should be. We shared our entrees. The beef cheeks. Omg!...So tender we didn’t need a knife and was better than granny’s pot roast. We also had the duck. Tender and perfectly cooked. We ended with a chocolate mousse that melted in our mouths. You won’t be disappointed.More

This was simply a great example of French bistro food. Great ingredients and excellent cooking...not the cheapest in Paris but great value because of the quality of ingredients and cooking. Also a great fun atmosphere...

We found the staff at this restaurant very rude and the food overpriced. The service is super slow and on top of this the waiter forgot most of our orders and did not apologise for it when I asked him about the missing orders after...the long wait. Instead, he started being touchy and making jokes in broken English and kissed my hand in front of my boyfriend, which made me quite uncomfortable. When I complained about his behaviour and the missing orders to the waitress, she told me he always acts like that. What I found surprising is that she seemed perfectly fine with it. In general we were also disappointed about the food. I am Italian and the mozzarella and ham we received was ridiculously overpriced compared to the quality. In general we had the feeling that people who are not from Paris might not be welcome in this place.More

I had the worst experience ever! For the first in my lifetime, I left a restaurant. We had an awful experience in this place, the waiter was completely drunk (proud to be drunk from the morning). They took our order after one hour. Two out...of five appetisers arrived in the next two hours (with 10 people sitting at the table). We asked many times for bread and wine. When asked for our food the waiter was mocking us and making RACIST jokes about the composition of our table. At this point, we stood up and left (at 11:30 PM) paying the wine and the two appetisers out of respect. I was expecting much more from an expensive bistro in the centre of Paris. I have seen better service in fast foods along highways.More

We went to this restaurant as a big group of people coming from all over the world for a reunion. The owner/waiter was completely drunk since early in the morning (as per his own admission) and he made us wait more than one hour to...order. After one more hour only two of the ten people at the table got their entry and when we asked him about that he started laughing and being touchy with people to distract our attention. Since at some point the food did not arrive and him being drunk was getting too annoying, we decided to leave and at this point he started to make racist jokes about the composition of the group in our table saying that we were "colorful as a Benetton picture". We then wanted to pay at least the wine we had (out of respect) and he, still laughing and mocking us, asked us how much tap water we had as he wanted to make us pay for that. While talking to other people during the discussion with him we realised that the experience has been bad for them too. It's a shame that the owner of such a nice and cosy restaurant thinks he can be entertaining and fun in such a way.More

This is by far the BEST bistro in Paris right now! The meal started with a dish of shell fish, "Cousteau" (because they look like knives, hence couteau in French) that were absolutely delicious, we continued on with the most amazing tomato burrata, a for...de beau that was the BEST I have ever had in France and an amazing Moelleux au chocolat et crème de mascarpone as dessert, trill unforgettable. Had to congratulate the chef and as it turns out, the President himself has been and loves itMore
