Beautiful Parisian bistro, art nouveau decor also in terms of superb lighting, perhaps authentic; beautiful terrace on the street. Good food with creativity, the wine list offers a wide choice. The service is friendly and the chef happily comes out of his kitchen to ensure his customers' satisfaction. Good address.

We have lived in the Faidherbe-Chaligny area for over two decades and have tried several restaurants, including the very popular ones (e.g. Bistrot Paul Bert, Au Petit Panisse, which have sometimes been disappointing), yet we had never had a meal at Chez Mamy. After our first dinner there last night, we consider that Chez Mamy is a top choice. We rate it very highly on all aspects: the cuisine is very refined with many slightly revisited classics (oeuf mayonnaise, joue de boeuf). The seafood (couteaux and aile de raie) as well as the desserts were excellent. The service was professional and without the attitude that is so common in Parisian restaurants; the dining room is pleasant and the noise level very tolerable. We look forward to returning in warmer weather and dining on the delightful terrace. Thank you Chez Mamy!

This restaurant was delicious, I consider a foodie myself so this is a great spot to go a have a very good Parisian dinner. I ordered a Tomato Burrata soup which was very creamy and light, it matched perfectly with the bread that of ocur was on the house, Then my main was a delicious melty beef bourguignon! Finally, the dessert was strawberries with cream, a perfect dessert to finish my free dinner. The place is also very interesting and beautiful they have an arty vibe with all those little ark works hanging on the walls, The staff was very friendly and they all spoke English and French

Until now, I was very attached to this little neighborhood table, excellent value for money where I had great times when I lived not far away. While wandering around the neighborhood, I returned there this afternoon. Prices have taken a serious hit. I'm not the type to choose between starter and dessert to lighten the bill, but this seemed wiser to me, especially since the glass of wine is not cheap either: from 8 euros . I'm going with a beef cheek (21 euros) accompanied by a Petit Chablis (8). From the bottle from which the wine came, I did not see the color: they brought me a glass of wine already served. I was looking forward to a good, fresh, mineral, slightly tense white wine. None of that: it was served to me almost at room temperature and turned out to be tasteless. No acidity, and on the contrary very watery, as if someone had poured water in it. At 8 bucks a glass, it stings a little. The dish arrives: a tiny portion of boiled meat, three small new apples, a carrot cut in two... Everything was bathed in a black puddle, here also very watery, without any creaminess. A failed sauce, too liquid and without relief. Clearly, it's bad... As for the taste, it was absent. Nothing had any taste. The meat had simmered nicely but was bland, like the rest of the plate. Well I say that 30 bucks added for so much inconvenience is too much to pay. It's time to retire, Mammy.

Stumbled across this restaurant when Paul Bert was closed. Filled with French diners, which we loved to experience. The food was great at very reasonable prices-35 euro for appetizer, entree and desert. Delicious steak and chocolate ganache! Friendly staff!

On one of my last nights studying abroad in Paris I had dinner at Chez Mamy. The service was wonderful (all members of the staff were incredible welcoming and nice), the food was delicious (I would definitely recommend the melon soup if they have it on the menu), and the ambiance was lovely (you definitely did not feel the hustle and bustle of Paris while dining). If you are looking to find a dinner spot in Paris I highly recommend Chez Mamy!

Absolutely delicious food. It was the best meal in my trip to Paris. My partner had salmon with creamed potatoes flavoured with mustard and lemon and I had a quinoa risotto with basil and feta accompanied by a bottle of excellent touraine. Pudding was a chocolate mousse with chantilly cream for him and abcheese plate - tomme, roquefort, chèvre - for me. I’m a cheese connoisseur and the roquefort was absolutely stand-out quality. Bill was 146 euros. We had fabulous service. It's a neighbourhood restaurant serving traditional French food with a stylish contemporary edge. Recommended!

Dinner here was delicious; I greatly enjoyed my meal (starter + main + dessert). The staff were friendly and accommodating to our large party, and the cafe had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The dessert was incredible, highly recommend the chocolate mousse!

Discovery of this charming restaurant, typical Parisian bistro in its own right, like the dishes from our grandmother's
5 beautiful starters that tempt you
6 varied, very interesting and quality dishes
4 pretty gourmet desserts
There is something for all gourmands
Friendly service
Value for money nothing to say
I enjoyed the frog legs as well as the pork chop. We quickly realize that all the sauces are homemade.
I will go back there for sure

The outside tables Chez Mamy were full as we took our reserved table for 2. It seemed that everyone showed up at about the same time. There was one waitress for about 25 or so diners. The service was excellent noteless with an occasional apology for the wait. We especially appreciated the energy and positive attitude of the serveuse.
Our meal was also excellent with starters of oysters and razor clams and a coupe de champagne. Followed by a nice cut of iberian pork and a brandade of cabillaud and salmon. A cheese course ended our meal.
Nice wines were available by the glass.

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel. We were a group of 22 American tourists. Most of my friends did not know any French. They kept asking for translations of the menu. I had French classes in junior high and high school four decades ago. I remembered key words and phrases. I believe that it helped facilitate a frustrated staff. Please do not expect the menu to be in English. Address the server in French as "Sir" and not as "Boy". The meal was delicious. I enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it.
