This place is just next to Grevin Musesum inside the same shopping mall or I don't know what u call it. Friendly three ladies are so busy in this buzzing place .. Looks like lots of ladies visit this place for their lunch, tea and tete a tete. The service is efficient and the food is so fresh fresh fresh... More

The ideal place for breakfast if you're in the area. Very good quiches, pastries, chocolates, glees and creative and traditional small cakes in an understated yet charming little shop. The location is also unique. Not cheap, but excellence is worth the price.

The window offerings are exquisite, the service was good, and the food was enticing and delicious. La Valentin Salon is a delightful place to have a coffee and a pastry.

Our Sunday brunch was especially delightful surrounded by gorgeous treats and pastries in this lovely tea shop. The quiche with salad was quite a value and kept us feeling full and satisfied until late dinner. Equally important, the servers were friendly, helpful, and adept at communicating with English speakers.

Le Valentin offers an amazing selection of delicious fresh pastries - beautiful to see, and even better once you try them! We went for breakfast and had this beautiful pain au chocolat that had just come out of the oven, accompanied by a very nice espresso (the best we had in Paris). It was so delicious we went back the... More

Found this utterly delghtful place while exploring the passage Joifroy. It has a menu of about 20 teas which arrives in its own teapot. We were there for afternoon tea. The most beautiful selection of little cakes and pastries which are made on the premises. I had a Montblanc which was eveything I hoped for. It was decoated with candied... More

This was our first destination every morning during our visit to Paris. The pastries are PHENOMENAL! Plus their espresso is really good too! Service was impeccable as well. Perfect little place for a nice desert or sweet breakfast! Please do yourself a favor and try their savory quiches as well (you can thank me later)...

This is a wonderful cafe in the arcade under our hotel - it is quite a small place and it is always busy with people coming and going. The coffee is really good and the food is always delicious and plentiful. A common sight is passers by taking photos of the array of specialty cakes and pastries in the window!... More

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
