We enjoyed our meal at Semilla. The food was fresh, the preparations inventive and the server quite pleasant. “Foodie” wise, it didn’t quite live up to our expectations, but overall no complaints other than the menu was very small and some of the items were...More

My husband and I were rather disappointed with the food here. Besides, I thought it was overpriced for the quality. Average at best. With all the great restaurants in Paris, I'd skip this one.

I ate twice at Semilla and enjoyed both times very much. It is very good and exact modern French cooking. The ambiance is very pleasant and the service good. Recommended for people who care about the way thier food is prepared.

As we booked late, we had the chef’s table watching dishes being prepared. Just like being in the front row of a theatre. So interesting with all their finesse. Lovely food and choice of wines.

Friends recommended Semilla for an outstanding dinner and it did not disappoint! The food, wine and service was stellar. The crayfish dish, which was a “starter,” was an excellent dinner for me! Should we return to Paris, we would dine there again.

People are nice and prices consistent with the quality. It tends too be overcrowded (with tourist for the first service) so...More

We ate dinner here with some friends. I ordered the langoustines and when I tasted them they tasted mushy and not right to me. I gave my husband a taste and he thought they were okay so I continued to eat them. That night both...More

Rolled in with 2 friends on Saturday night, we hadn't booked and were able to get a table. The waitress was so friendly, spoke very good English and was also reactive (quite unusual in Paris). The starters were great but a bit too fancy for...More

This is a nice smallish restaurant. I reached here a tad late for my booking and the waitress was effusively rude. The restaurant was neither full nor was it closing time!! I had to hurry up both my order and my dining. The wine waitress...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is

ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the
oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
