This restaurant is different, especially so for Paris. With its interesting decor and atmosphere, you definitely get that. Unfortunately, the same can not be said about the food. Bland and low on flavour, you can definitely get better food for the price. The service while acceptable isn't great, we waited quite a while and the never came. Maybe we'd have... More

A long line to be seated (we booked in advance) Food really average ... with no flavours. I do not recomend with all the nice restaurant you can find in Paris

This place is popular and there may be a wait, but it's worth it. Top notch food and service in a casual, lively atmosphere. Only complaint is the hard (wood) seat. (I was not in the main section, maybe other seats are different). Ate dinner here both nights in Paris, and would come back again.

The restaurant opened for dinner at 20:00, expect there to be a small que, but if you are there at 20:00 you should be fine as the restaurant is large. The menu is quite simple, there are bento boxes, rice bowls, a handful of appetizers and desserts. We had the Dorade with a sesame sauce, soba noodles with duck and... More

You want to see skinny men with beards, tight jeans and nerdy glasses? That's the place. Nevertheless we love the place. Great juices all day. The bento boxes (meat fish and veggie versions) are freshly made and super. Also suggest the desserts.

Whenever we're in Paris, we keep coming back to this one. Simple but great. If I had to choose, I love the one in the Rue the paradis the best because of the interior. Those lamps!

Nanashi seems to have caught the PR bug. New branches pop up and everyone who is anyone in Paris has heard of it and most likely visited. Fresh, open setting if not a tiny bit stark. Only complaint is that on one occasion I have actually left feeling a little hungry. Moving up to the more expensive end of places... More

Love the salmon Chirashi - fresh stylish and satisfies the cravings. Cool take on Japanese food. A little expensive though...

We had a lovely quick dinner at Nanashi recently. The food arrived promptly, and did not disappoint. Recommended by Le Fooding magazine, I would definitely go there again. Fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced!

Our airbnb rental was right opposite Nanashi. We did a takeaway several times during our 3 week stay. Each time the meals we got were different and delicious. In the evenings you can take advantage of reduced price (euros 10) on the meals. Among the desserts, the raspberry cheesecake was recommended by our server and was our favorite too.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
