For the price of a couple sushis, one can have a full japanese dinner, with soup and brochettes in the most scenic part of the Latin Quarter. Service is outstanding, kind and diligent. PLS note: address is not "8 rue Mouffetard" but "7 rue Mouffetard"

I have been here a couple of times when I have my class breaks. The sushi menus is affordable( a menu with miso soup, salad, 8 maki somon, 8 california saumon avocat and 2 saumon rolls for 9 euros), but the quality of the food is not an exceptional one. Also, you cannot take out your drink bottle, so don't... More

Very nice small no nonsense Japonais Eatery. Walked in without high expectation, place was conveniently located close to our Hotel. The fact that most of the customers where of oriental decent was a good sign. Busy street Restaurant with a nice mixed crowd. They menu is extensive, not just Sushi, a lot of choice for everyone, raw or cooked. Service... More

I booked a table here and when I arrived they didn't have the reservation noted. They told me I didn't book even though I could see on my phone that I had made a call the day before they insisted that it was my mistake. We sat down and waited for the rest of our group but after 5 minutes... More

This Japanese restaurant is just a short distance from Place de la Contrescarpe in the 5th district. It is a good value classic Japanese restaurant with nice sushi sashimi and yakatori. The sashimi menus tend to be mostly salmon, but there is also some tuna etc. Menus come with miso soup salad and rice. Really very good value. Can get... More

Amazing fresh sushi, and very very good value. I used to eat there all the time when I was living in Paris, and I still try to go whenever I come back there.

Great little restaurant in the Latin Quarter on rue Mouffetard. With lots to choose from on the menu and great value. Good size portions of food and friendly service. We recommend for a nice dinner out without too much fuss.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
