Only after coming back from Paris I read the reviews and I can´t believe we were in the same place. We had a steak, fish and chips, sea bass and a hamburger. None of us complained about a single thing. My sea bass with crispy vegetables was great. Our waiter, running all around the place, tried to be funny, which was also ok for us. Food price was higher but usual for the area near Champ Elysée. Any time we paid less in different restaurants in Paris, we got less tasty food or smaller portions. I would surely come back.

A well needed, quality breakfast and coffee!

I can’t fault our experience. Quick and easy to be seated, met with a smile, staff super friendly throughout. The coffee was strong and smooth, the eggs in the omelette were clearly fresh and good quality, the croissants were buttery and flaky, the bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection. Thank you 😊

I have to say that it was a very good french Brasserie with good taste and big plates. The dish was an octopus very tasty and the café gourmand was a real one! I recommand and will come back soon. Staff is pleasant, little dog welcome. Close to Champs Elysées, perfect for a shopping stop!

On 04/21/2022 (at 20:50), 2 pasta dishes with two salmon ordered. Instead of fresh cream, there's only oil. No cheese on the top as it is supposed to be. Bread was not served until requested. - rather mediocre quantity of smoked salmon for one of the dishes. We paid and left the restaurant after 5 minutes. It seems to us that there was no manager, so we serve junk that costs 19€ for a dish.

The worst Fish & Chops I have ever had…!!!

Started badly, got our drinks order wrong. My wife’s sparkling water came as a vodka and still water. After confirming our food order several times, we got the starters which were acceptable. Hence one star. Then came the main course. 2 x Fish and Chips. Oily, salty and one up from frozen fish fingers with chips that were completely burnt. To top it all, the waiter then took our bread and gave it to another table with no idea whether we had touched it. Save yourself a fortune and go to McDonalds across the road.

I ordered a beef rib steak and when the waiter asked how I wanted it, I said medium. The steak came out well done and I noticed as soon as I cut into it. I decided to take a bite to see if it was edible before returning it, and it was tough as rubber. So I asked the waiter to get me another one. After he spoke to the manager, he told me that I'd have to pay for for the steak that I returned as well as the new one. So I went over to the manager and he said that it was my problem if I didn't like the steak and that he wasn't going to get me another one. I asked for the bill and told them firmly that I was absolutely not going to pay for that steak. They removed it, but the experience seriously ruined my night. The management is terrible at this place. They don't stand behind their product and they don't own their mistakes. I travel to Paris every few months and own an apartment down the street from this restaurant, but I've never experienced anything this bad, ever. Seriously, the manager should be fired. I'm personally never going back.

Horrible Experience and Rude Staff

Where do i start? This was our first place to go for lunch when we arrived to Paris. It has a nice view of the Arc de Triumph and the menu seemed nice. My fiance ordered a burger and I ordered the ceviche with sweet potato fries. When the food arrived the presentation was nice. However, the burger was completely raw and not cooked and the ceviche was not properly cured and it was just a piece of raw fish on the plate. I only ate the fries and when the server came to the table seemed bothered that i did not ate the food. I explained that the fish was absolutely raw and not properly prepared as ceviche would be and he said that me being Brazilian i am expected to like that. I did not know what/how to respond bc first of all I am not Brazilian and second of all if I was, what does that has to do with the issue. We were charged for the plate despite the fact that the food was not touched and the server at no time tried to offer any other options to make sure we left with a positive experience. The whole experience at this cafe was disappointing and despite how overpriced everything was we would have been happy if our experience would have been different. I do not recommend this place at all.

I ordered chicken, which was prepared without any spices, probably just thrown in the oven as it is and from there to the plate. It was served with a sauce that was not at all tasty, and the food had hair in it. Everything was overpriced and it costed us 75€ for two persons, so not worth it.

Avoid this tourist trap

This place is terrible. Mediocre food and service. The waiters like to hang out outside to convince people to come in. I didn’t want to go but my husband insisted. I was right. The food was so bad even my teenage sons who never complain said it was the worst meal they had had in a while. The waiters also bully you into giving them a tip even though service is included. Do yourself a favor and avoid this tourist trap. Hard pass.

Scam. Went there for dinner. Server brought out bottled water without our consent. The food was average. We ordered 4 entrees, 2 wine pours and 2 kids drinks; total bill was $170 before gratuity. The server conned us into paying 20% gratuity at the end.

The worst place I have ever been

Absolutely outrageous. Do not go to this restaurant. We were staying at a nearby hotel and asked the concierge to recommend a restaurant. So he gave us this one. When we arrived the water came over and pleasantly said would you like a champagne cocktail and a fruit cocktail for my twin boys. We said ok. Never in a million years would have thought that those 3 drinks would have cost me 77 euros!!! 37 for mine and 20 each for the boys. We asked for a kids burger and kids pasta got charged adult prices. The whole meal cost me 197 euros a complete and utter waste of money. Avoid it

The location of the cafe is great and they have the best croissants ever. However, their staff (mainly waiters) are extremely rude. I had ordered a cappuccino but obviously they got me something else and when I told them about it the waitress said she has nothing to do with that and that I need to go and speak with them inside!!! The other waiter had a loud voice and almost shouted at me when I wanted to smoke a cigarette although it was in the open air terrace but from inside the restaurant and not at the outdoor area where tables are outside; right infront of the door. He could have told me in a much nicer way though!

Staff a bit friendly but not helpful. I asked for a white pasta for my 3-year-old daughter and it came super cooked and I paid the same as the most expensive pasta. If I asked for some cheese, I was criticized for asking for that nature. The meat was not tasty, super hard and not nicely cooked. We asked for it to be fried a little more and it came back without bernaise sous. Almost no contour and the sous was really not tasty. When we asked for the bernaise sous, it arrived cold at the table. Apparently that's how it should be served. But the first one was warm. The salmon was 80% mourning and he dared to say that it should be that way. That's no place to eat. You leave hungry and angry. No one asked if they enjoyed it and they like to have cash

Normal food and drinks, we ordered 1 mineral water, 1 mojito and tapas (strangely it does not include the bread and if you order the piece for 1 person it costs 5.5 euros), the total bill is 87 euros. The service was horrible, the waiter had no interest in treating the customer well, every time we asked him he nodded as if he understood but then he simply did something else, on the other hand we had not finished eating and he took the lids off when I told him that It seemed he was making us stop removing the rest. To top it all off, after his poor service, he was asking us to pay a tip for his service. Right next to the Arc de Triomphe, with a cosy atmosphere. We wanted to try some French cuisine and got served snails, lamb leaves and onion soup. For dessert we were recommended today’s dessert which is some of the best I have ever tasted. Great staff, fast and good service. We asked about wine-recommendation to the meal and it got absolutely right! One night here is what ended up being the highlight of the Paris tour! Forret, main dish with salad and dessert with a bottle of wine for 2 people cost us about €190, but was definitely worth it! The waitress asked if we would give tips and we got the choice between 5, 10 or 15% where we chose 15% because of the good service and good food.
