It is sad and a bit misleading that all these delicious dishes do not come with a kosher certificate. Placed in the heart og the old Jewish quarter it seems a shame.

This is a great little Jewish bakery in the center of Marais, surrounded by other ethnic restaurants and shops. We got some incredible pirojkis (like empanadas, if you've had those) with meat in them, and their challah looked amazing, too! The prices are very reasonable,...but be prepared to use your french or simply point at what you want, as the helpers don't speak much English at all. Also, don't touch the food on display! You will get yelled at. Just wait until one of the workers asks you what you want, and they'll get it for you. If I could have spoken a lick of French beyond bonjour and merci, I would have really gone crazy at this place!More

I had heard so much about this bakery and was anxious to try it. We picked our goodies and waited in a long line. I paid the old lady with the cash box at the table at the end of the line. I had no...small change or small bills as we had just come from the ATM. As I left the table, but before moving away, I turned to ask the woman something and IMMEDIATELY before I even said a word, she handed me the equivalent of about $20.00 U.S. WOW was I surprised, I hadn't even had time to count my change. It was obvious that she had deliberately short changed me and was well aware of it. Not only was I cheated, but I didn't find the pastries that good either.More

We enjoyed a late breakfast of coffee & pastries at this Jewish bakery in the Marais. A big portion of apple strudel & a poppy seed cake that was bursting with filling. The cheesecake looked amazing - I'll try that next time.

Excellent Askenazi deli, at high prices. Aim for the quality, not the quantity. Pickel flesh, pastrami, cheesecake, bagels, everything is perfect.

A longtime establishment with throngs vying for vying for the 4 tables in the place. Appears very busy but dish we had ok. I support the kind women who work here, very nice service but our piroskis were meh! Will try to come back got...other good looking jewish pastry and other traditional food.More

In a street full of treats where the stand out venues have crazy queues, this one has queues for good reason. Everything we tried was extra delicious.
