This little restaurant is a gem. Catherine Reed is a wonderful hostess and exceptional chef. We enjoyed boeuf and risotto that were beautifully prepared. The cost was about $140: starter, entree, dessert and wine. Make reservations ahead and enjoy this special dining experience. A must when in Paris.

If you are in Paris staying in the rue Cler area, or even if you aren't, you should give Reed a try for a great dining experience. Very intimate and seating only 16, reservations are advisable. Because of the intimate setting, I would think it is best for couples, or single adults, rather than families with small children. Catherine, the... More

I booked REED via a personal recommendation and because it was close to our hotel. The place is small, friendly, romantic. Catherine is the perfect host- welcoming, warm and not overly intrusive. The food was fanastic and whilst its a limited menu.. one would be hard pushed not to find something for the most hardened food critic. Its a relaxing... More

Booked one month in advance of our trip to Paris. We had heard a lot about Reed and wanted to see for ourselves. As our booking fell on my wife's parents ruby anniversary we asked if it would be possible to arrange for champagne on arrival and flowers for the table. This was no trouble for Catherine and when we... More

We had a fun and informative lesson from Catherine on how to make Profiteroles and Madeleines. We found Catherine to be very welcoming, knowledgeable, an excellent teacher, and a sincere/genuine individual. This was an excellent family outing!!!

I just recently had the pleasure of dining here and also taking the cooking class. Cathryn is a amazing and her food is awesome. The restaurant is quaint but the food has awesome flavor and some of the best quality ingredients. For someone looking for a different experience other than the bigger restaurants, check this out. Or check out the... More

We were lucky to get in, make sure you get a reservation in advance. We went back a week later because the food was so delicious. We also loved Catherine, she is so friendly as well as being such a wonderful chef! Would recommend this as a must do for anyone traveling in Paris. She also does cooking classes during... More

After a long day in Paris my husband and I wanted to go for dinner in the very near neighbourhood. We found Reed. We did not know what to expect as the kitchen was in the restaurant. So sat down and the owner presented us the menu. I chose the pumkin salad and my husband the artichokes, which he did... More

Food was great and Catherine was so nice. We enjoyed our dinner and decided to take her cooking class a few days later. We had an awesome time and learned some great cooking tips. We have already tried the recipes out! Her place is so cozy and a great change to a rushed dinner at a big restaurant.

This little gem was wonderful. Went here for my birthday dinner and we were the only couple in the restaurant so we had wonderful food and wonderful personal service from Catherine, the owner/chef. She brought out a special dessert and sat and visited with us and offered suggestions for places we might visit.
