I would describe REED as good down home French cooking. Not trendy or flashy. The owner is the chef is the server is the dishwasher. Plus all the grocery shopping, cleaning, ... That is a lot of work. She is originally from French Canada -...More

We read reviews of this place, and decided to go. Catherine was so down to earth, and made us feel very comfortable at her restaurant. Both of our meals were completely exciting and delicious. This would be the type of small restaurant you would want...More

Visited December 21 for a birthday dinner - Catherine was a charming host who welcomed into her delightful bistro & kitchen. The tomato tart to start was amazing - pastry was so light and delicious. The duck confit main was the best ever! And then...More

We were looking forward to dining at Reed, but were disappointed. The concept is certainly novel....but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Very limited menu; only 2 entrees, 2 plats, and 2 deserts. The tart that shows up in one of the 2...More

Reed is an amazing restaurant in a city of wonderful and over the top eating. It is obvious that Catherine loves what she does, you feel like she is welcoming you to her home, not just her restaurant. The food is as described by others,...More

I had a totally lovely dinner and great wine. The restaurant is in a nice street away from the Main Street,a Little hidden away. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Will go again soon.

Try to email her. Email is on her site. I was not able to include it here. She works a lot and it is easier to reach her this way. Good luck. You will truly enjoy your time with her and you'll learn a lot in the process.

Dinner only Friday and Saturday. I'd call her. Probably same price as any high end US restaurant-- we probably spent around $200 for two people-- two bottles of wine, two entrees and dessert. Hope this helps.
