Stopped for ice cream. It was home made, fresh, creamy and ample portion. Try the pistachio flavor - very different but delicious and made with fresh ingrediants.

I had dinner three times at the restaurant during a recent trip to Paris and was pleased with the food, the service, and the house wine each time. The mussels mariniere were as good as any I have ever had and much better than those I had for lunch at Leon of Brussels, also in Paris, a few days earlier.... More

Tagliatelle Napolitana tasted a few days old and had a modicum of canned tomato sauce dumped on top of it. Chicken burger was quite nice but was also a bit sad generally. French fries were the kind you'd get at the British seaside - i.e. frozen and deep fried. Waitress was a grumpy character that probably hates tourists, based on... More

Ordered 12 oysters and they were fabulous. Didn't stay long or order anything else as the staff were rude abrupt and unapproachable. Also I had to pay 50cents to use the toilet. I feel it's a cultural racist approach to us as we are not French. Probably best avoided

This restaurant is tucked away on the Boulevard St Germain. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had Lamb and the Haddock dishes from the specials menu - both were delicious and good value for money. A very good house wine accompanied the meal - just what we needed after a hard days sightseeing.

We found our way here from a local hotel. The staff were very friendly and service was good. The waiter had a great sense of humour which is sometimes hard to find in restaurants. The food was good!

Went for dinner on our last night in Paris. Had oysters and steak. The oysters are freshly shucked to order, and they were absolutely superb, the best we've ever had. We started off with a half-dozen, but the were so nice, we went the whole hog and ordered another half-dozen. We probably could've eaten another dozen on top of that,... More

Went there for dinner last night and very impressed. Had oysters and then steak and chips. Oysters in particular were fab. Recommended

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
