Went there for dinner last night and very impressed. Had oysters and then steak and chips. Oysters in particular were fab. Recommended

We have visited this restaurant for the third time. It's cosy inside with a lot of foreign costumers. The waiters are friendly, very quick (sometimes al little bit to quick) and know what's the best on the menu. The food we chosen was good, except my duck (canard). It was fried completely dead and tasted like liver. Looking back the... More

We stopped here for supper after a long day of walking around Paris. Part of our reason for stopping was that we needed to use WIFI to plan our next move. Sadly, none of us could get it working and the wait staff was unhelpful, with the waiter flippantly saying that it worked on his phone, implying that it was... More

Ended up at Le Twickenham because our 10-year-old in tow was dying to try frog legs, and they were the only restaurant we came across that served them. The aforementioned amphibian legs were tasty (I guess if you put enough garlic and butter sauce on anything....lol). The crepes were good; club sandwich was standard. The service was great -- very... This restaurant was such a welcome discovery, After eating at one of the very popular restaurants in the Rue Saint Severin we felt a little cheated. However Le Twickenham was so different. We had breakfast twice and dinner on two occations too. The breakfast was good value at €7.50 for fresh continental and €8.50 for English cooked breakfast. Dinner had... More

We wish we had found this place several days ago when we first arrived in Paris! Once we tried it, we were there two nights in a row. Great waiter who gently guided us to the scallops that were to die for. Inexpensive, lovely place with great food.

after a very disappointing meal on the Place Dauphine it was sheer joy to come to this restaurant and be looked after so well. Waiter was lovely, food tasty and reasonably price. Would definitely go back for Breakfast, lunch or dinner when next in Paris.

They gave us a different soup to the one we ordered, which casually was way more expensive, don't know how a business can risk their loyalty for just some extra money

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
