We totally love Pub Montmartre, which is actually more than just a pub, but also a very good restaurant with great dishes. We've been here a couple of times in the last years, and always had a great time. The shrimp with avocado is fantastic, and the Duck confit is unbeatable. They also offer a lunch menu at a very... Onion soup was really good. Our mains were ok. Burger tasted alright but was really sloppy/soggy, and the beef special was tiny - not enough to fill you up. Service is fast and friendly.

Stopped here after visiting Sacré Cœur on a very wet and windy Monday lunch time. Le Patron was very hospitable and attentive despite having a very busy service and seeming to be the only one front of house. They offer a very reasonable lunch menu, 2 courses for €15.5. I opted for the mozzarella and tomato starter and cuisses de... More

Wanted a quick lunch after arriving in Paris and came across this nice local place that was very close to our hotel in Abbesses. Sat outside, didn't have to wait long for service. We decided on Croque Madame with fries & salad which proved to be a great choice. Simple but delicious, generous portions and we felt very well priced... More

Very relaxed place for lunch. A couple of very nice salads, bread, a couple of beers and coffee all for about £35.00 Very reasonable for this part of Paris.

We went to this local restaurant while staying in the Montmartre area. Although not luxurious, the food is fresh, obviously home made, the welcome of the staff is great and it is full of "real Parisians" ;-) Would go back on ournext trip !

This is a great place to have really nice French food and if you are interested watch sport. When we visited there was a mix of locals and tourists but everyone was made to feel welcome by the staff. The food was exceptional, with large portions and reasonably priced. If you are staying in Montmatre and don't fancy the tourist... More

Nice simple food and friendly staff. We had an amazing cheese platter! Very fair prices compared to the rest of Paris, and enough food on the plate. We got to take our left overs in a doggy bag, they even offered it as we couldn't finish the cheese.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
