Le Chardenoux is a well located authentic French Restaurant . The menu is extensive as is the wine list. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. The also offer English menus. Well worth a visit

We chanced upon Le Chardenoux cutting through some minor streets on the way back to the hotel Boutet, saw how busy it was and the presentation of the food and immediately booked for the next evening (and even then could only get a table on the pavement). Excellent food, great service, a really pleasant meal in an obviously popular restaurant... More

Quiet neighborhood in the 11th - sympa - cordial -- representative and at 39 euros for prix fixe, an excellent value. Two couples enjoyed a quiet dinner in a very typical setting -- tables close, but with the quiet atmosphere that allows for civilized conversation. Our entrees included tasty fois gras, seasonal girolles and a salad. Mains included the daily... More

Recommended and reserved by the Hotel Boutet. Great choice. Just a short walk from the hotel. Very French and with local diners which is always a good indication. Also full and need reservation. This kitchen of Cyril Lignac is traditional in all ways. Menus, portions, wine list, service, atmosphere, etc.etc.. Next time in Paris will definitely return

Agree with another reviewer that this is a very French sort of restaurant. There is a very typical French neighborhood ambiance. The food was delicious. We had the farm tomato on toast and shredded crab with warm potato for appetizers; grilled beef steak and cod for main dish; a sorbet and chocolate lava cake with passion fruit sauce for desert.... Went there with friends only because of Cyril Lignac. The decor was nice and cosy like in an old style bistro. Service was nice and quick. Was a bit disappointed with the lunch menu which was reasonable but not to a Chef's standard. I guess you pay for the name. Try it once but don't think I would go back.... More

Charming little restaurant, close to the metro. It's a small restaurant, very nicely decorated in a French way. You have to take the menu for 39 euro (evening, lunch is cheaper) with lots of choice. Service was prefect. I would definitely recommend.

We took a chance and walked in witout a reservavation. The Maitre d' looked us over and found a tiny spot by the window. From then on we were delighted. Good service. Inventive food. Nice local group.

Its always embarassing when someone is treating you to dinner and the food does not measure up to expectations. We were really looking forward to trying Le Chardenoux and first impressions were favourable. Its a typical small Parisian restaurant with lovely decor. The fixed price menu is reasonable by Paris standards - €39 for three courses. But what a disappointment!... More

I knew about this place reading an Alains Ducasse book. Delicious food, great service. The only thing is that is tiny! Reservations are important!!!
