Have you ever had the idea to take out the most precious person in your life to that one dinner that counts. Forever? This is the place to go: reserve outside in summer and be amazed of inspiring food and accompanying waiters before you formulate the one and only question that counts in life. Yes. This is the place to... More

My second time to this restaurant. The food was exceptionally good both times. We had the steak for two which served three. So tender and delicious. The desserts were also amazing. Service was fine. Not exceptional as it was somewhat busy.

We booked in advance with Pamela Popo based--as usual--on Tripadvisor advice. The place was a short walk from our Marais hotel...(our fave Paris neighborhood). We booked at 8 and showed up a bit earlier to have a drink in the cozy downstairs bar. Appreciated the friendly, funny host (Jerry) running the bar (and waiting upstairs in the dining room, too).... Great food, really beautiful presentation and the price was right. The menu is all in French and the waiter was good natured about helping us translate. For a decent wine, one appetizer, 2 main courses and one dessert...100 Euro's.

The themed drinks are somewhat expensive, but cocktails in Paris do tend to be expensive. The ambiance of the place is vibrant, happy French couples and families nearby, seems to be a place where locals wind up at the end of the week. The small plates were excellent.

Fantastic French restaurant; I discovered it casually while walking in the area. Guests are mainly locals with few tourists. Food is excellent: do try the fois gras , you'll never forget it and for dessert the big macaron is also lovely. Service is quick and friendly; a little expensive but it's worth it. Do go there!

According to the song Pamela Po Po is a stripper in Soho but I can assure you that there is nothing down market about this classy restaurant close to the Louvre, where all the cocktails like the restaurant itself take their names from song titles by Serge Gainsborough. Excellent food in the upstairs salon where the monkey wallpaper reminds you... More

Friendly staff and a beautiful, modern little room on the ground floor of this Marais establishment. It's comfortable and welcoming and I'm looking forward to trying the restaurant upstairs. Went with a friend and the staff were very happy to serve our champagne in a coupe rather than a flute when we requested the former. If you're in the area... More

Pamela Popo was a perfect dining experience! It's a great mix high-end modern French presentation and flavors without the high-end prices, balanced cocktails and great wine recommendations, and friendly, English-speaking service. We can't wait to return to Paris to go back to Pamela Popo!

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
