Service slow but friendly, lack of attentiveness from waiter but I guess this is normal for the French. Food was excellent and well presented. Overall I would return if I was in the area hungry and it happened to be raining and cold as the atmosphere was friendly and food was served promptly.

We were here with another couple who left before us and paid their bill with a credit card. Our server left and a younger girl took over. When I went to pay the check she said the credit card machine is broken and told me to pay cash. I offered 2 different Visa cards which she refused and told me... More

Arrived to nice welcome. Chose this as just wanted bistro meal. We had set menu of rotisserie chicken, chips and salad followed by dessert (choice of 4) I had Creme Brulee which was not large but was lovely. Mousse was served in kilner jar. Just right for what we wanted. Would visit again.

After walking around Paris a long 12.5 miles was so hungry and tired just wanted to give up and get Le Big Mac! However had the most amazing half roast chicken dinner and chocolate mousse dessert only have pictures of dessert as we woofed it down before we could take pictures of our mains! Great portions and even better prices!... More

This café was just a short distance from our hotel, after travelling for close to 24 hours all we wanted was something light to eat. We had the Onion Soup which was terrific - hot and cheesy, then, because they were on the menu and we were in Paris after all, we had the Escargots, very nice but a sprinkle... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
