Every part of this meal was perfect. The service. The fresh tomato with feta appetizer. The lovely aged beef with frites and peppercorn sauce. The thym sorbet with olive oil and dark chocolate. For dessert. We loved Daniel Rose's restaurant, Spring, and we're sorry to...More

Went there with my wife yesterday and got the rib eye as a main and we shared the chocolate mousse. The steak was awful - very very fatty and chewy, and to top it off, got food poisoning. There go 2 days of our 6-day...More

Had dinner there last night. Appetizer of tomatoes was unappealing, I had chicken that was dried out, could hardly cut it, my husband had the steak which was practically inedible, the french fries not that good. Well intentioned but did not deliver.

The restaurant is owned by American Daniel Rose and was a nice retreat from the neighborhood hustle and bustle near The Louvre. The service was polite. Not the best steak frites I've ever had, the steak was rather tough and with too much gravy, but...More

century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and
