We had a two course meal and drinks. Very busy place small but great atmosphere. All of the food was exceptional - particularly the foie gras. It was disappointing to not be able to have a draught beer when the keg ran out and no one was able to change it.

We visited for lunch and it was full of local diners. The waitress helped us with the menu and everything was fantastic. The lunch menu was a superb deal- try the duck! This was one of our favorite meals on our two week vacation.

Had a lovely meal and a fun time here - staff so lively and friendly, food excellent and just across the road from our hotel in a side street - so we took our Parisian friends there the next night and they too were impressed! Dishes change regularly, so hard to recommend any particular dish, but suffice it to say... More

This restaurant is less than a block from our hotel. It is small-- seats less than 40 I guess. Wonderful proprietress who serves as waitress, manager, interpreter, etc. I had the beef-- a little chewy but tasty, my husband had the veal -- good choice. The creme brûlée and chocolate mousse excellent. House wine was good. Highly recommend for a... More

We dined at this beautiful little restaurant a few nights ago with our young family. Not sure where to start with the compliments. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food absolutely amazing. Great wine list. Clearly a neighbourhood treasure with the locals. We will definitely be back to this little gem.

the card has 10 starters, 12 dishes and 10 desserts inclued in the menu. the dishes are homemade with 100% fresh. you chose a stuffed chicken fillet with parmesan, tomato confit with fresh basil sauce and tagliatelle with butter all tables are different. it is recommended to make a reservation to choose a particular table. the menus are in French... As two Americans with absolutely no French language skills, my husband and I were very nervous about visiting this restaurant that was clearly a nice bistro frequented by locals. We were welcomed in by the staff who quickly began speaking English as soon as they learned we didn't know French. The servers were very kind and they translated the menu... More

What a wonderful place to discover on our first evening in Paris! The food was delicious and the staff very accommodating! One of the best dining experiences of our 10-day trip.

Such a wonderful experience and plentiful, delicious food! Wife and I sat at the bar and were able to observe the whole restaurant in action. I was in awe being able to watch all of the flow of this wonderful place being orchestrated by FOUR PEOPLE! The waitresses/bartenders were extremely helpful translating the menu into English and gave perfect recommendations... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
