Enjoyed our visit, it was our first evening in Paris. As we waited for family members to arrive we were greeted by Ludovic. He suggested a great bottle while we waited. We then had many plates that we all shared along with more bottles of wine suggested by our host. The place is cozy.

Great ambience and staff, big selection of mostly natural wines (both by the glass and the bottle), bottles can be bought at the store and enjoyed on the premises for a small corkage fee, and the tapas, octopus and cheeses to go with the wine we had were delicious!

This is a place mostly known by locals, in a side street. Its traditional food, and the most difficult is to choose between different delicious cheese or meat platters and daily dishes, not to speak about the wines menu! The small size of the restaurant allows a great service and the owner and waitress are super friendly and make you... More

Tried with wine bar with a friend who regularly goes there after work. The place is very traditional and cosy, with a nice and homely feel to it. Most importantly, though, the owner makes you feel valued and welcomed right from the moment when you cross the threshold. And does he know about wines! I have never come across someone... More

We visited here after walking round the Marche D'Aligre which is close by. Situated in a quiet street we were treated to a high quality toasted sandwich and high quality wines. The home made crisps are excellent also.

We were recommended this place by a friend who used to live in Paris and I am so thankful. We would never have found it on a little side street but what a great find it was! The staff were really friendly and helpful. They were also full of great advice about what to eat and drink. They are clearly... More

The area around the Aligre Market and the Place Bastille is a paradise for those looking for a good meal. The better places are usually a step away from the busier boulevards, and so it is with Siffleur de Ballons. This is essentially a wine bar, but one of the conditions of having a glass (or two) of wine is... More

Interesting wine bar located in a quiet street but very close to a very animated street (Faubourg St-Antoine). A very large variety of wine and very knowledgeable staff. Can be very crowded so be there early. Not ideal for a full meal - only for the "apero".

Great atmosphere for our evening of cheese, charcuterie and wine. Top quality ingredients and impressive wine selection. Staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great evening here and would highly recommend this place. Should be more highly rated on TripAdvisor!!
