Great mixture of traditional and modern fusion on french cuisine.
I always enjoy their "plat du jour"
Super great value for lunch too!

We visited Comme Chez Maman on a Sunday night - a night on which Bib Gourmand restaurants are rarely opened. The food was of a very good quality (and certainly homely!) and the service was excellent. While quite a classic French bistro, Comme Chez Maman...gets a thumbs up for having a number of vegetarian options, including a proper vegetarian main course! The potato gnocchi was particularly delicious. The only downside was that the signature parmesan crusted chicken breast was a little overcooked.More
We booked this restaurant on ‘Fork’. We were sent a reminder of our reservation on the day of the meal by Fork. However, on arriving at the restaurant we found it is a building site and has been closed for a couple of months. We...advise Tripadvisor users to be wary of Fork reservations in the future.More
Nice little place , very French feel and one of only a few restaurants open on a Monday night in the area. Food was good as was the wine , cost was a little expensive perhaps but the veal was very good. Worth a trip.
This charming gem was totally packed on Saturday night, and we could understand why. The chef makes focuses on traditional cooking, modernized, but not extremely creative. So there is no big surprise about what's on your plate, but the quality of the ingredients and the...mastery of techniques is evident, giving a result: we would have loved the meal to continue indefinitely and to eat everything on the menu. The waiters were friendly and helpful (though harried on such a busy evening). The wine list is excellent. We had a "brule main" of mussels, which were of the highest quality and just perfectly steamed; a crab salad with bits of fried salsify (as I recall), which would have made the trip out to the restaurant worth it on its own; meltingly-well-cooked cod; pork jowls with a marvelous sauce touched up with lemongrass; nicely-aged cheese; a light and fluffy waffle (I think the cream on top could have used some more flavouring....perhaps simply a bit of sugar); and a near-perfect baba au rhum. The champagne by the glass is well-chosen.More
Really enjoyed four courses here but be warned: it is on the more expensive side! The starter of ham hock terrine was probably the biggest dish I had but it was delicious. The cheese course, however, was neither here nor there. Service was generally good...but things like bringing the water took a while. It got very busy and tightly packed by 8.30pm on a weeknight so you might need to book ahead if you like dining at this time.More
