My wife and I attended l'Annexe on September 15th after the suggestion was made by our hotel concierge. Both of us, being epicureans and unconditional foodies, attended the location with quite high expectations as this restaurant was described to us (still by the concierge) as being as "French bistro style" as it gets in Montmartre. The lovely couple who owns... More

We loved this little gem. Close to some seriously average restaurants, this place is a bright star of delicious food, good and homely service and wonderful memories. I recommend it totally and completely. You will not regret it!

The meal we had was awful. TUNA with Orange and Carrot mash. The orange in the carrot and tuna dish was very over powering. But the desert was really nice. The starters were okay I didn't like how they served the bread in paper bags I thought that seemed unprofessional. The owners speak English however I felt they seemed a... More

L'Annexe is an easy going and as the name suggests, small bistro - chances are you'll be seated next to someone else during your meal. The menu is also quite small but there’s something for everyone. Although these might be negatives in some restaurants it works here and if you go with the flow you’ll have a good time and... More

Years ago we've enjoyed a great dinner here with some friends ours. So this time, for nostalgic reasons we returned to L'Annexe. We weren't disappointed! Greater by the friendly staff we were lucky to get a table without booking ahead. Food and wine are still great. We've particularly enjoyed the foie gras and the duck breast. Yet another great dinner... More

I live in the neighborhood and I go there whenever I can. The place is lovely and the owners charming. They really know what they're doing with food and wine, I have never been disappointed. Their food is organic and their wines natural, and everything is so much better than anything I've tried for similar prices in Paris. Last time... More

This is a great place to eat close to Sacre Coeur but, away from the tourist crowd. The street where it is located is full of bars and nightlife. I would recommend this place for a small group or big. We were quite a large group and they accommodated us very well. The tuna is excellent! the highlight of our... More

small restaurant, small kitchen ( you can look inside ), great cooking performance ... what a taste ... simply see all the pictures of and try to imagine how it may taste... or better: book your ticket to Monmartre just to visit this place ... mmh.. i become hungry again

Every once in a while, you visit a restaurant that has it all. The magnificant food, the great wine and the perfect atmosphere. This intimite and charming restuarant is run by a couple who's as french as it gets. I guanrantee you're in safe hands. An absolute must in Paris! Enjoy!

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
