We visit this very cosy Parisien bistro (sixtees ambiance) in rue Lepic Montmartre since 2005, we really feel at home here! Former owners (Maurice & Rino) retired last year, but cooking chefs are still there with same good qualitative menu and a nice friendly new...new owner. Great specialty is still the famous French Onion Soup, best in Paris!!!More
For my last night in Paris I really wanted somewhere local to my hotel, small and intimate and very French. I loved the feel of this tiny bistro and couldn't fault the service except I was not offered water as standard and was not shown...the type of wine which was house, but it was nice wine so no complaints.
The onion soup was steaming hot and just delicious.
My duck alas did lack a sauce, it was a very dry plate of food and also the potatoes could have done with some seasoning.
It delivered on what I wanted but needs a few tweaks to get my perfection tick.More
Au Virage Lepic is a small restaurant in montmartre serving expertly cooked food made from delicious, local ingredients. The previous owners recently retired but dinner there reassured us that the food is still as excellent and the service as friendly as ever since the new...owners took over. Highly recommended.More
Ate here 4 years ago in winter and wanted to share the experience in summer with my husband. Walked here after sitting on the steps at Sacre Coeur. Did not have a reservation but were welcomed and seated outside. Spoke English. French onion soup and...crispy cheese salad were to die for. Rib-eye and lemon chicken were good. Inside is great ambience if the weather is not good.More
From the tasty potato chips and olives with the appetizer, to the classic French onion soup, and the delicious duck with fois gras, this restaurant stays current while classic. Friendly and professional service, and such a kind new owner.
At the turn of Lepic, not...too much traffic, not too many tourists, but just enough to keep it interesting (locals with dogs or kids in tow. As it started sprinkling (Paris in springtime), they extended the awning keeping us dry.More
This restaurant feels very French.
It's small, cosy and has a great atmosphere.
I don't particularly like onions so this was the first onion soup I've ever had.
It was fantastic. Full of rich flavour and a great start to the meal.
Rib eye steak...to follow. If you like it medium then tell them you want it pink as the French have a tendency to serve it very rare.
rare. The steak was ok but did not wow me.
However, staff were friendly and the place was a pleasure to relax and listen to the French patrons chat.
I would highly recommend this place but would choose another dish rather than steak.More

This restaurant was close to the hotel we stayed at and is a very small intimate restaurant with a good menu and and a good wine list. The food is excellent. The owner is most charming and I would happily return on my next trip...to ParisMore
