hostess welcomed us with a smile. The food was prepared with love, care, and the best ingredients. Just a perfect tiny and elegant room with an aura of good work done with delight and fine food offered without any attitude of preciousness. Quiet and charming surroundings. Chic without being a slave to fashion.

Drop in Sunday lunch

Very friendly staff, really good food, good value and full of charming French people. Visiting Paris Deco and having flown in at 9am needed an early lunch. It's a small restaurant but does appear to attract an easy going clientele. Beverages are produced quickly and the food was very, very good.

On an earlier trip to Paris I'd missed the chance to eat here, but i was rewarded with a great dinner this time. Staff are knowledgeable about their food and wine; they are helpful in explaining the menu ( speaking several languages including English). The food is great. You can take the fixed price deal or order off the menu... More

We didn't book but were early and were first to arrive. We had passed this place on previous evenings and noticed it was generally full. Shortly after we arrived it began to fill up quite rapidly with tourists and French alike. We had a most enjoyable no nonsense meal. Braised endives with a mushroom cake, lamb cutlets with flageolet and... More

AU 35 Rue Jacob was a block from our rental apartment, so we decided to try it during our Christmas stay. They took and confirmed our reservation online (via their web site) on fairly short notice. I highly recommend a reservation because it was full every night of our stay. Terrific "country french" cuisine - duck pot au feu and... More

We visited this very small restaurant late one Sunday night and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the service and the food. This place really is tiny so having menus available in both French & English and bilingual waiters made this monolingualist very happy. Quaint French restaurant with wonderful food... tick.

This is a lovely place with superb food. The staff is so pleasant and friendly and waiter Antoine is one of a kind. I can honestly say he is the best waiter we have ever had. The venue is small with only about 20 seats witch makes this place even more special. We spent new years eve in this restaurant... More

A true Parisien style cafe. Small but cosy, serving authentic French cuisine. We were only a couple so we managed to try a limited selection and some dishes hit the mark some didnt. Hence, I would say the food is not the best but certainly worth a visit. The very charming manager, a young man named Antoine, certainly makes up... More

This is a simple neighborhood restaurant on the rue Jacob. The food has a home cooked feel to it. Service is friendly and efficient. Not gourmet but really good.

Daily special menu was delicious and great value on two occasions.Several dishes were quite innovative eg millefeuille of beetroot and apple and rhubarb tiramisu and very successful. Service was friendly, unpretentious and helpful.
